Some clever guys have made the IWC Portuguese in a 44mm for us big wristed guys and although a quartz, this watch is a real great looking piece. I have fitted a new Orloff padded gator strap in dark brown and gold stitch and a new RG IWC Deploy and think as a beater she looks great. Regards AJ

Things have changed over the years with toe clips, when I raced back in the late 70's we used toe clips, sole cleats and a leather strap! I estimate that I cyceld circa 250,000 miles in training over the years and had the opportunity of racing in the Skol 6 and was ranked in the top 10 in the UK when younger! Do Alan still make road frames, that was what I used with Campagnolo and Zeus 2000 gear. I was lucky enough to be sponsored by Cutty Sark whisky :-) AJ

I have recently purchased the AP LBJ and have sent her for the various mods discussed above to be performed. In the meantime I bought the first SMP Lover black gatopr strap which is simply stunning ready for her return. A grey strap is on order to swap out as desired. This is my first strap from SMP and I can only say I am very impressed! Regards AJ

Slight deviation from a wristy however this is an amazing piece of Horology art from Joshua. For those who love Panerai you simply have to get one. The PAM desk clock. I love it :-) The dial is awesome, the movement looks great and the lume is really superb! AJ

Im always wary of new members with very limited posts shouting off about a bad deal with one of our leading TD's and find it disstasteful. I hav enever had a bad deal with any of our TD's and I am one of the most prolific buyers. AJ
