My first PAM arrived from Trevor...but... :-(

A service on that movement should be circa $100 US or thereabouts. You can buy a replacement movement for that kind of money. AJ -
My first PAM arrived from Trevor...but... :-(
astonjenks replied to DiverDoug's topic in General Discussion
Lots of guys get their 'New' reps serviced once received, it is not uncommon and by many considered the Thing to do. Hopefully it is no more than that, the PAM 111 is a good watch so not usually a problem, however the movement will always benefit from a service. Regards AJ -
I have to say that until recently I have not been an AP guy, however the Panda 44mm is simply a stunning watch!

Ideally you need the correct sized PAM caseback remover found on the bay or similar, failing that a rubber type of ball pushed tightly against the caseback and rotate the ball in an anti clockwise direction. Failing that a roll of ducktape rolled up into a ball pushed hard against the caseback and rotated with pressure being applied might do it. You then need to remove the crown and stem, remove the movement and refit the hand. Hope this helps, pm me if you need more. Regards AJ
