  6. Latest reply I can not offer that repair cost , our margin are badly low . U can return back for refund or exchange . We don't have that money profit to pay repairs . So my Bronzo arrived today 5 weeks and $35 shipping cost and will be sent to the factory, I will get it back hopefully in a few weeks so that will make it 2 months out in total. It could b eworse I guess, it could hav enever turned up! TD's you simply have to clean up your act and stand by your product, if teh factories are rushing th eguys putting them together gie them 1 minute more to screw the damn movement in properly, not to do so is a false economy and pisses us, your clients off. Rant No.2 over :-)
  7. So today I pushed a tad harder and the trail is below: Bad luck for me but no assistance getting repaired or compensated? Really bad lucky with these . The PAM 382 just arrive today , tomorrow I give back factory . It is and will cost circa £100 to service, in truth I am starting to get a tad upset with the way three of the last 4 watches from you have had problems. Andy
  8. Morning guys So 3 out of the last four watches I have got from one dealer (all ZF by the way) have had issues! 1) Firstly my Bronzo that I did lots of patination on had loose movement scres when it arrived, no biggie, I dealt with that as I have the tools and basic ability, however after several weeks, more screws flying around and jammed up the spring causing damage. The Bronzo left me on the 7th May and still has yet to be received by the TD as repair costs were something I did not want to swallow again. 2) I ordered my and Fraggles PAM 389 and after a very short period of time Fraggles had a problem with the movement and he got it serviced as none of us like sending back to China for obvious reasons. 3) I ordered a PAM 441 which arrived in great time, but as soon as I wound it the movement seemed ok, but the watch runs for a few hours, losses several minutes per hour and then stops altogether. So as someone who buys a lot of watches as you guys know, I thought this is getting ridiculous and sent the TD an email saying, ' 3 out of the 4 watches you have supplied are not working properly and require servicing/repairing and I am becoming an Unhappy customer' the reply, oh, what bad luck! Praise where praise is due, however these guys must stand by their products, how can they say if it gets confiscated at customs we will send a replacement, however if it is broken or not working properly thats tough, that surely cannot be right? Something to consider perhaps is that we build a league table not only for service/qc pics, communication and delivery time but one that confirms the products relaibility and Fit for purpose use, list the brands and the TD's and let the cream rise and those TD's that the 'Trusted' is found to be misplaced no longer take collectively $ooo's of thousands of our hard earned without any recourse. Rant over but you get my drift! AJ
  9. Looks great, the screws are silver. I'm loving my 44mm AP Panda, a very special watch and presence. AJ

  15. The maker is Panerai, it is an OEM strap.
  16. This arrived this morning from a trade deal with a great member in Greece, delighted. AJ
  17. I have an 8 inch plus wrist and usually war nothing under 46mm, I also had a Swiss Rolex Challenger for a while. When I bought an Egi I tried my hardest to love it, however it is just too large, you might feel differently, however as a member who is well known for wearing the larger versions of watches, the Egi was not for me. AJ
  18. Nearly another month finished here in the UK, Flaming June starts tomorrow :-) Have a great weekend guys AJ
  19. Richard, look closer and you can see the second hammer on the other side under the whizzy regulator. Once she get home from far away shores I can assure you that you'll get the video you request. Best regards and thanks AJ
  20. Some months ago, well almost a year actually, I purchased a Jaeger 1/4 repeater when I was in my pocket watch movement phase with the desire to recase her after a full service and dial refinished and the day has finally arrived that she has now been finished. The movement is a large (size 18) very early 20th Century chronograph 1/4 repeater which is very rare and very valuable. The case is around 51mm, I hope you like it as it has been some time (and substantial cost) to finish. When she arrives back I will have a rather special strap made for her and shoot a video so that you can hear the gongs. AJ
