  1. I'd say the TACHOMETER instead of TACHYMETER is a pretty big flaw.
  2. Whoa...groundbreaking tachOmeter complication that will tell me the rpm of the car I'm driving?
  3. Why do you need a springbar tool to size it?
  4. I have pics of my wife wearing a pam but I want royalties.
  5. Oooo, didn't even occur to me to use a CF strap until now...just slapped it on. Should've hit me sooner - Ferrari -> F1 -> CF...it just make sense. I used the sharpie technique to colour the stitching and wet-sanded the polished buckle for the brushed look.
  6. Hmm, will a Valjoux datewheel fix the date font issue?
  7. Good, I now know I'm not the only person who packs a springbar tool when I'm travelling.
  8. White strap with 113? Hmmmm...hmmm...damnit I need to get a 113.
  9. Just to clarify, the valjoux day and date wheels fit without modification?
  10. The text is still white...I'm wondering how I can "ivory-ize" the text. I have an extra dial I can test with so I welcome any suggestions before I send it out to have the dial installed. I think it's just for the davidsen case.
  11. I just received the newest dial - I got a 177 couple months ago but there was a QC issue with one of the cutouts so he offered to send me his latest dial when it was ready. Here are the pics.
  12. Switched to the HBB that just arrived.
  13. PO on inside-out 22mm pam rubber strap!
  14. On a related note, does IWC make a deployant buckle?
  15. I'm loving the sharkskin strap from the watchboys.
  16. Very nice! My 3717 should be in my paws in an hour or so.
  17. Clarkson is a great entertainer, but a bit prone to hyperbole.
  18. Is the movement problematic because of the chrono minutes at 3? What if the chrono were never used?

Who did you purchase from? I must have it.
  20. Hmmm, here's a pic of the "v2" Chrono I've seen. The 3, 6, 9 markers are present but the date dial is completely wrong. My still newbie eyes can't really pick out other subtleties though so I'll leave it to you guys. Edit: Ok, this is completely off...ignore me. Duh.
  21. I've noticed a V2 on a dealer site with the subdials a lot closer and the 3 the same size as the 12. Has anyone purchased it?
