  1. Points well taken, Tee Jay. I just found it ironic that we
  2. One of the gens I’d consider plunking down some money on is a Sinn (there are many I like). I was checking out some detailed pics over on Timezone, though and I swear the pearl (or top triangle on the bezel) is crooked. http://forums.timezone.com/index.php?t=tre...66023&rid=0 Look at the second pic, for example. The left part seems to reach higher than the right. In the third to last picture, it’s even more clear… on top of that, the datewheel looks crappy, crooked and too far down. I posted this because I just think it’s funny how we scrutinize every detail of the $200 watches we buy – these “flaws” would be completely unacceptable in a $200 rep from China. I’m gonna pay $1600 for a real Sinn?!
  3. @ Bignasty: I'll get in on your list if you don't mind sir
  4. gah! am i too late? i want in as well. i'm in CA.
  5. Has no one noticed that the dot between the 8 and 10 is too low? Or did I miss something? I usually do...
  6. put me down for 1... my fist rep. a 45mm PO.
  7. You guys are such an asset. Thanks so much!
  8. I've been searching the forum and I've been clicking back and forth through dealer sites, and for the life of me, I can't see what makes King's better than say, Josh's. I'm looking at "wrong stack" Pepsi or Red/black bezel models only. I don't want correct stack. I swore I read that King had the best one, but I can't find it anymore. I'd like to pick one up from Josh, as he'll be sending me another watch soon and he could just throw it in the bag. Can someone point out what's wrong with his (or Andrew's) compared to King's? I'm not concerned with the bezel insert - I intend to change that anyway. thanks!
  9. same here. paragon- mine did exactly the same thing. unscrewed great, even went back in great the first couple of times. after that, it just didn't seem to catch at all. i did find, however, that if i used my finger to turn it while applying pressure (quite a bit) with my thumb, i could get it to catch. the catch with that (no pun) method was that it didn't seem to thread correctly - ending up with about a thumbnail of space between crown and case. send it back - it ain't gonna get betta.
  10. My crown has the same big gap, but that's the least of my issues... it runs +6 minutes a day and it stops nightly whether charged or not. flav, i tried msg'ing you but for some reason i can't on this board (and replicacollector is down or something). are these repairs something you'd consider attempting (for a price, of course)? i think my email should be visible. i'd love to get your opinion on course of action. thanks!
