  1. Coming back from the dead here - but curious, who is still active - I'm from the time of Eddie Lee, Neil, Angus etc - who are the up and comers and new favs?
  2. Eddie lee, paul, river & neil (love him, or hate him - great stuff). remember gold bags? or grab bags... ha. what a gamble those were. miss em all! back to lurking =)
  3. Happy Birthday Chicago1122!

  4. that deployant is spot on.. absolutely amazing watch.
  5. Hey Hike, thx! - we'll have to set up a rep lunch for sure! December is a rough one for me - tons of travel, but let's grab some lunch after the fist of the year.
  6. thanks! When i have time i look forward to taking some high res shots with my SLR JM
  7. Hey newbie, welcome to the board! Look around and be sure to check out our trusted dealers. thanks again
  8. Picked this off another board member - a huge win for me! Anyway - haven't posted in a while, as in ever since TRC, but this beauty I think deserves a bit of attention. Here are some quick and dirty shots - it came on a rubber band, shot on a thick calf from Angus. The CG and the crown are both pretty solid as is the lume (it actually holds on for a bit, although the color is a bit off). Compared to my gen 50 the CG is just as good: RWG sale I love the new 7753 - very quiet and keeps "perfect" time. Date adjust and quick change work perfectly... factories stepped up their game on this one. Here are a few shots! Enjoy
  9. i have it listed for $4500 in the watches section, but I'm willing to "negotiate" PM if you are interested...
  10. Hey Breitling fans... prior to selling, i thought I'd post some pics of my Bently. One of my top three favorite watches ever owned (gen & rep. Except, i had to have it recently serviced... to keep time the chrono had to be running, if i would stop it the whole movement would shutdown. I have three Breitling 7750 reps that have never had a problem!!! What's that all about!
  11. sorry I haven't been around the boards much, I picked up two presidents that i thought i would share. Also shown is my gen Pam50. The diamonds on the 18kt gold (18238) are all VS-G, 5.5ctw.. pretty silly i know. It's an aftermarket bezel which is going to make it hard to move. I'm going to part ways with them soon, just wanted to share before i do. The PO and the HBB are reps from Neil. Hope you're all doing well
  12. A GMT... that watch got a lot of film time! It was good to see ol Tommy boy in such a comedic role, made him almost human again... well almost.
  13. seems Panerai has become the unofficial, official watch of Chicago...... I see ALOT of Roadsters and Santos as well so I'd say Cartier is a close second.
