how big are the files? if u dont mind putting them on rapidshare that would be great! but if its quite big might be easier getting it through torrents!

the PVD yacht master looks quite cool, though what a tacky service, every combo was horrible!

good thing I'm too lazy and never got round to dipping the dial in the coke, however I might try the coke or urine on the case and get some dregs of coffee and let the dial sit in it for a while, but if Nanuq can shed some light that would be great aswell thanks everyone so far

thanks for the advice everyone, I think I will try dipping it in coke overnight, simply because that's all I have on hand at the minute, if it works i will try and get some pictures for you all. however if anyone else has some advice let me know!

I've not done anything yet, I had heard of tea bags, smoke and the like but was unsure of how to actually do this to the dial, so should I just pour some coke into a cup and leave the dial in it for a while? has anyone tried this what sort of results am I likely to get?

Hi, I've done some searching but so far all I can find are great pictures of vintage dials, but no explanation on how you have achieved the look of the dial, so if someone could shed some light I would be eternally grateful. Thanks Ben

@yim156: the rolex will tick just fine but you get what you pay for if you want a smoother sweep on the second hand your going to have to spend more, however i have several reps with asian movements at 21.6k bph and think they look fine when ticking, its just personal preference

I dont think the golf watch is related to the sport but rather the oil/lubricant company (gulf), however i could be wrong!

ok, i will take some when im finished at work, however i have noticed that i broke the manual winding function of the watch, i have checked and everything else is working, but the watch definatly had that function previously!

hi , ive got an asian movement from silix in a lange and sohne seconds at 6 and a big date at 12 (like in the blackbird) that has seperate windows for each part of the date, however the date is misaligned and trying to open it the stem release is a tiny pin resting on a plate. trying to push down on it doesnt seem to work however i have noticed when you pull the crown out the pin and plate move with it, if any one knows how to release the stem i would be grateful! thanks RWG pics are hard for me to take however if need i will try, again many thanks

Hi Hopefully someone can help me but a while ago I came accross a replica forum (well i'm 99% sure it was a rep forum) and there was a member selling custom made pens, there were a couple of threads dedicated to the process with tons of pics showing how he did it, and if I also recall correctly he supplied knives aswell. anyway I wanted to buy a pen for a present, but I cant find this site again, so if someone remembers please either PM me it or put it in here, Many thanks Ben

seeing that makes me want to go out and PVD my black monster, i think it would look better then that watch only because that one is a little too big and chunky! nice watch tho enjoy it and show us some wrist shots when it arrives

i recently started reading this thread and got in touch with the seller on ioffer (blackshear2005) and she seems to think her suppliers have the correct black faced models back in stock! what do you think worth the risk (she did say she would give me a full refund if it was incorrect!)
