  1. Hmmm... ok that might do it. Which e-mail-address do you use?
  2. Unfortunately Eric still did not answer to my PM as of yet, does anyone maybe know if he is well?
  3. He did not answer yet, but I do not have the slightest doubt he will. Plus, I would by any means recommend him as a 100% reliable business partner, absolutely.
  4. The straps of the HBB and the BBK (44mm) are exactly the same. You should keep in mind there is a BBK 44mm and a BBK 48mm.
  5. Yes, indeed I do have a BBK strap, but the watch is a BBK too (my fault) so it certainly should fit. However, as I own as well HBBs as a BBK I just compared the original straps and they are 100% the same size anyway.
  6. I have a Donerix shark strap (for HBB though) too, and besides the missing inserts it does not fit well, 1mm too wide at the watch case and 2mm (!) too wide at the deployant.
  7. I recently ordered an HBB stap from Orloff, but immediately sent it back due to unsatisfying quality. Neither edges nor stitches even comes close to Jacob et al. You get what you pay for. If you, otoh, like it to be "rough", Orloff may be the way to go.
  8. My personal recommendation is Jacob, just received a strap and it is as close to OEM as it gets. And yes, he does make the inserts.
  9. For me, deployant is a must-have - I changed each and every of my watches to deployant. At least the customer got to have a choice.
  10. Hi guys, I wonder if there is one of the strapmakers out there making straps for Ebel, especially for a Ladies Discovery model. Or maybe I could get one from one of the TDs? Any idea, anyone? Thanks in advance!
  11. Yes, that's at least the model we are looking for, however, not really the real thing. Might be a nice starter though.
  12. Puretime? I think I would have noticed that, at least I could not find it there. However, quartz is really a no-go for this watch anyway.
  13. Just some remarks, fwiw: It is not only the crown and pushers of the gen are not aligned vs. being in line on the rep, plus the cyclops is too far on the right because of the datewheel. From my point of view the most disturbing issue it is the huge difference in thickness. The rep measures 16 mm whilst the gen only has 14,3 mm - so there is a difference of 1,7 mm which is a plus of more than 10%, and that means not only being visible but it also affects the wearing comfort. Personally I don't know if I could live with that issue though, it might be a real show-stopper. OTOH, having this watch properly modded makes it one of the most stunning pieces you can get - however it will cost you approx. $3.000 then...
  14. Mates, I found a watch I immediately fell in love with and now need your advice: Is this watch available as a rep, or will be in the near future? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
  15. I just came across this Review and must admit it is absolutely stunning! Thank you for that one. Now I do need this watch...
  16. That was indeed fast. Francis from Puretime told me that the the biggest bracelet Maker in China has packed up his factory and moved back to Taiwan. There are rumors that he is re-opening his factory in TW, but they have yet to hear from him. So chances are it will take quite some time before those bracelets are available again.
  17. Yes, I took APBands into consideration too - before I came across Jacob.
  18. As I am in just the same situation, would you mind posting your experience with tswatch?
