Bought many a strap from B&D ...and the "sold" archive is invaluable resource!!!!
- Just waiting for an Black Velcro Kevlar Dive to arrive for my 009!!!
Looks fantastic ...PVD is my new favourite thing...the force is indeed strong with the "dark side" ...everything else is starting to looks "shiny"....!!
:ifsh:
- I have had the same issues - it's a struggle to get a sandwich dial into a Josh 036 case - it's not prepared for the thicker dials only thinner single layer dials.
Personally I have found DSN's spring loaded crowns to break very easily.
The tube holding the spring mechanism for the stem can start to shear off ...creating the wobble and eventually the crown "head" comes away completely and a small spring flies across the room if your lucky!!
Rep crowns without the spring mechanism are much more reliable in the long run.
Just my 2p from experience....Ziggy has replaced all of mine over the months

Now if the joke's after 12noon ...it's supposed to back fire on the person who pulled it !!!!
Watch that front door
BTW - yes you did get me ....I read the post!!
All - thanks for your comments - I wrote a quick review of Rolli's PVD Service in member trade reviews if you are interested.
K - Thanks...I'm really happy with it.
That's how it came , Maybe not black enough for a "safe queen" but anthracite grey and actually looks well worn for a watch of the age it's pretending to be.
Chief- you know how good that kind of dish tastes....Hmmmm...I can feel an 004 coming for dessert...

Thanks P...
Yes all PALP crowns- I try to file a chamfer on the inside edge to create a 2.0mm effect rather than the 2.1mm
Some have worked better than others....
I could have sworn I tried a 202A dial in a JF case without joy ....but good news none-the less if DSN is making a step in the right direction ...size wise anyway...
Cheers
Not 100% correct Rolli - I have fitted 082 into std Ti case , 113 into std SS case and currently this is my best looking 001 with DSN PAM 40 dial in JF case set (On the Left of shot)
All of these fit perfectly without changing the diameter...
The 112 had to be trimmed though...
Best regards
From my experience
DSN 111 and 112 Sandwich Dials - fit DSN case set and case set from seller Helenarou on ebay
DSN 040 Dial - fits JF case and Standard Rep Case - SS or Ti
DSN 036 Dial - Fits standard rep Ti case set as well as DSN
DSN 113/010 - fits JF case and Standard Rep Case - SS or Ti
201A/202A - Fit DSN case or Helenarou only.
DSN PAM 005 - Fits DSN or Helenarou cases only
Std recess in most rep cases accepts a 34.0mm dial ...DSN's are more like 35.0mm.
I have succesfully managed to "trim" a 112 dial to fit a std rep case ...but also managed to ruin some other dials attempting the same thing...

Clearly I have not tried all the dials and all the case variations available
T & L Dials.....well that answers one long running debate thanks Jay...
Now how about the dial on your shadow PAM 40....this looks like an A/B T Dial and I thought the PAM 040 had a pre-vendome T dial with the quirky 6 and 9's ?
Does your 040 sport another rare and unique dial combo ?
