  1. Just finished these six watches tonight and thought i would share with everyone the wonderful lume qualities. Cheers TWP
  2. I am going to take some fresh pictures of my love tonight. I will include an ar shot for you and a lume shot. I will have to admit that the lume is pretty shabby. Let me disassemble mine tonight and to see if your proposition is feasible. Cheers TWP
  3. I do have this model for sell. Please pm me or email me at TWP.RWG@gmail.com for details. All the ones I have ordered and personally inspected have ar coating on them. I could not agree with you more. With a full wind and a day of wearing sometimes my reserve last as long as 70 hours. This is a clean, elegant watch and it deserves more attention then some of current reps on the market. Built just as well as the Blackbird, better looking, and about $100 dollars cheaper . Why is this watch not getting all the buzz as others ?
  4. Looks to me like you got the wrong strap. If you would like to pm me and i can contact Seth for you. People lets not forget that I am a distrubutor of these straps and usually offer great prices to forum members Cheers TWP
  5. You are going to love your alpina watch my friend. I wore mine the day after you posted that you had bought one. The build, finish, and fit on the Extreme is excellent. It conforms very nicely to the wrist and the strap...yaaaahooooo....your are going to love it, comfortable as hell. On that note. Just let me know when you want your GMT. Special price for an ole buddy Cheers TWP
  6. I am sure that we have all seen this watch by now, have read the reviews, and have formed our own opinions. As with every watch either they are, or are not appealing. My first experince with Chopard, like many of us, started with the 21 jewels XXL which I fell in love with, and immediately upgraded to the ultimate (a watch that unfortunately I am not happy with). When the GMT's came out several months ago I ordered three of each models and had no problems selling every model. Well through divine intervention one managed to stay in inventory to long, and instead of selling it quickly at a good price I thought that I would wear it for awhile with the thought of passing it off as used in the event that I did not like it. Well what can I say, time has passed, seasons have changed, and now this has become one of my favorite watches. The bracelet is very well made, and I love the 'locking style' deployant clasp, although it was a bit tricky at first getting used to unlocking it, because I wear my watches predominantly on my right wrist. What I love most about this watch is the dial. The white is very clean and contrast nicely with the black subdials. The date aperature could have been done better, but hey other than that the watch is perfect. Bonus: Very close to the gen, too. Cheers TWP
  7. I know exactly what you are talking about. There are some very good modders on these forums, and I enjoy doing the work. Only two gens occupy my panerai collection, and now that I have begun modding an $800 dollar investment can get me close enough to the real thing. Currently I am working on a 219 mod for myself. Certainly a watch a would never shell out the money for, and when it is finished I am sure that i will be happy with the end result. Cheers TWP
  8. The only reps that have forced me to buy gens is Panerai, an unknown and obscure brand prior to my knowledge of replicas. Cheers TWP
  9. I will let you form you own opinion my friend. Here is the colors of my dials shown dry, after assembly. Close to the gen, ahh yet so far away. I threw in a couple more lume shots to . Enjoy Cheers TWP
  10. Rarely do i use any layers on my photos at all. Just the auto color correction and the resize. Here are some nice examples of lume shots.
  11. I might sell it. Not sure yet. Perhaps you could make me an offer
  12. As stated earlier the seconds hand was not seated properly, your mixture close to mine. I was 65/25/5, but now I am 77/23. Cheers TWP
  13. Looks good my friend. I like the overall composition of your pictures. Now all you need is cannon pinion and superlume Cheers TWP
  14. Looks like your collection is going to be a bit spicey once your SC straps come in
  15. Gunner My 2 cents. Seems to be the reoccuring choice. Welcome back even though I do not know you. Cheers TWP
  16. Nice shots you have there. What forest if I may ask?
  17. Getting some last chance wears before this gets a gen movement. Cheers TWP
  18. Good morning and afternoon. Thought I would start the week of with this one. Has not left my wrist since coming in last week. Have a great week everyone. Cheers TWP
  19. Ahhh and there are some whom see the cup as being half full
  20. Thank you. Finding it awful hard to pry from my wrist. I have worn it for two days and it is running about two minutes slow. Not bad. Cheers TWP
  21. There is something reall rewarding when you manage to repair and/or alter a watch for the first time. Now the question, how long did it take you and how many times did you say f&&&&&KKKK?
