Hey guys, is the DSSD model really 1:1? Because I saw 2 in a dealer today and I could have sworn they were bigger than my BK DSSD?<br />Also the area where the " Ring Lock" writing is etc looks to be not as visible as the Gen model in the window. <br />Any thoughts guys? Will let you know mate, will get back back to you, however I don't think we would really need to worry as you wouldn't take a real one off your wrist to give to somebody, and I would have thought it would be near impossible to tell on the wrist, most people would have never seen a real one in real life . Hi guys, just received my 390 today, overall fit and finish is superb for a watch 99% of the price of the gen, so in my books it's a winner. However being a ex Gen 111 owner for over 6 years, I can tell the difference when it's in my hand, however I could not tell its a rep when on the wrist and I don't think 99 % of people would know off the wrist. Not sure why people always nearly assume that when people sell collections they need the money? There are some big collectors out there and this person may wish to use the funds to buy other things maybe get into another brand. These types of people with these big collections are normally the type that also collect things like $200 000 bottles of spirits, and I've seen Chinese guys flick over $ 200 000 in cash for 1 bottle of spirits then head over to watches and hand over $400 000 in cash for those. Yep, I agree it appeal's to the Fashion crowd and those wanting ot get into the market, and still dont know or dont understand "what other brands" there out there. What are your thoughts on Tag Heuer as a brand.? i remember the days when most if not all nearly had ETA movments, and in earlys 2000's I think they started to bring out their inhouse movements. As a brand, do you think they are now worth what they are asking for in their models, with so much competition these days, and their prices are competitive with other Brands like Panerai,Rolex, why do you think a person now would buy a Tag Heuer watch. Do you think most people who buy a Tag, think they are the best beacuse of all the advertising etc? Or am I totally wrong and been in the closet too long! Would you buy one???
