  1. I notice no one has mentioned the raised lettering on the dial...Do you think this is not obvious? From what I am reading, you all think the V2 is the purchase but send it for dial/hourhands color and relume?
  2. The Black Bay is a beautiful watch, gen and rep. That said, what stinks is that the Pearl is a giveaway, and so is the dial. Raised type and texture missing on the rep dial. I wish they fixed these two things and I would buy buy buy. Does anyone know if these have been updated on the newest version?
  3. Your confidence has me convinced, I will do the Noob n V3. Thank you! Thank you for the information. Good to hear it from someone who has both. H and Noob. I will go with Noob! I guess the pics had me fooled.
  4. So, When I first started here, like everyone else, I was on a mission for the best Sub haha. I ended up getting the TC Sub v6 and I am super happy. Now, I am researching the best PAM and I am hearing it is Marlin's Mods on the Noob N V3. That is great, and that is what I am learning toward doing...But which is Reallllllyy better, The Noob N v3? or the H Factory Best sold by Andew http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=37_49&products_id=9396&zenid=1ee303b4375d886541dab3854ce523b9 . What are your thoughts? From pictures I have looked at both the Noob and the H factory best at that link and can not for certain say who is better. It seems the L Swiss Made L may be more proper on the H factory best? What do you all think? Which is the best PAM 111 ? The Noob N V3 or the H Factory best at the link above. Which is most Gen?
  5. Where did you buy the case for this build? I can't find an accurate case on any reps
  6. Maybe its just me, but pureti.me doesnt even show up as an active site anymore. Did Angus move?
  7. Does the PAM111 Noob v3 have the proper spacing between the 6 and the L swiss made L ?
  8. awesome. this is extremely helpful. I am now in search of a 1675 instead of the 16710. I just need to find it! Thanks again
  9. So you are saying that the Gen 1675 has the GMT hand at the bottom like the rep? If so, would you recommend this as a good buy? http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_5&products_id=8348 Thanks again for your help Actually scratch that, looks like the crownguards are too stubby
  10. I don't think that is correct handstack? I think i remember asking Andrew a few months back and he said it wasn;t. I could be wrong though. Thanks for the input, hopefully this is it!
  11. http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=37_49&products_id=9396&zenid=4c468e28c3d9f5bf0bca28390f087747 Andrew told me this is the best and most up to date. Does anyone have any knowledge of this model?
  12. I've searched far and wide and can't seem to find this! Does anyone know where to buy a GMT Master II, old aluminum pepsi bezel, with correct handstack??? Key is the correct handstack. Where the heck is this watch?
  13. Come on everyone...its not like I asked where to find the best Sub! lol
  14. Hello All, Can anyone recommend the most accurate PAM 111? From size, weight, shape, details, and glow. From my reading I hear a lot about Marlin, so I sent a message. If anyone could advise that would be great. Thanks in advance for all the help.
  15. Now that I have a TC Sub V6, I am looking to mod it a little to make it more accurate. To do so, I am looking to replace the crystal with a gen crystal that has the proper laser etching. Does anyone know where to buy the a gen crystal for the 16610 Rolex Submariner???
  16. Thanks for the input jpz5142. So the light hollow band and the stamped sheet metal clasp is true to gen?
  17. Hello All, Today I returned home to find the TC Submariner V6 Arrived. I am pretty noob here but I am diving pretty deep into the submariner, pun intended. You all can see some pictures attached below. I will be sure to post more picture if you want to see a certain aspect. Since I am so new, I will let you all be the judge. Please critic flaws you see. I took some pictures of the TC V6 next to my BP Ceramic Sub. My initial impressions are as follows: The watch is beautiful. I think I like the old Sub model much more than the bulkier ceramic model. I also prefer the smaller hour markers. Some worries are as follows: The bezel doesn't make the same loud clicking sound, although it does click, just a duller tone. Also, the watch feels pretty light..idk if this is because I am used to the ceramic model which is more bulky. Also, and probably my biggest concern, and I would be curious to know if this is just normal for the older sub models is this: The bracelet feels very light and the clasp feels a little cheap when comparing to the BP Ceramic version. All in all, beautiful watch and I have to say TC gave awesome customer service and he sent the watch in rapid time. More details to follow. Please let me know what you, the experts think...
  18. I have a spare link, but mine is BP factory not Noob Factory, not sure if the links match properly?
  19. The V6 is the best TC. It is his most recent.
