Did you just buy it recently? I asked Sora too and he told me none of the ones have engraved plates

I paid for mine this morning. I didn't specifically ask about the engraving because it wasn't a big deal to me. I plan on swapping mine for a gen ETA 2824 anyway. Sora had said in the sales thread that they were engraved though. Probably just an over-sight I guess/

Probably a bit picky but they dont seem to be selling anymore with the engraved movement plates. Thats the one id be interested in. Even though id never see it its nice to know the details there

I paid for one from Sora (Shinewatch) and was told it will have Rotor and plate engraving. I'm wondering if people were told only the first run will have the engraving to get more pre-orders. Or Sora could be mistaken. I will know shortly when this watch arrives. I was offered 308.00 with free HK post but I paid extra 10.00 for EMS.

As AKTime has indicated you would have to turn the datewheel into an overlay. It is theoretically possible with patience and effort but there are a few things you will need to check first.

 

1) Is date position, size, etc correct for window in your dial

2) Is datewheel thin enough to fit between original datewheel and back of dial

 

If all good then OK to go. Just be prepared for very fiddly work.

I concur with this gentleman. Aligning a DWO will test every ounce of patience that you have.

ETA datewheels are held in place by the keyless works cover. Usually when using a different datewheel on an entirely different movement, you just sand it down as thinly as possible and fix it to the old DW with GS HYPO.

I wasn't being negative, I just stated that it's pointless to ask for opinions and then argue with the opinions provided. The newer Ex2 looks to be a cartel model, bezel font is too big, DWO is oversized. They are decent other than those small issues.

Update, DenisSpa posted in the thread I linked and has said that he cancelled the charge back to Ryan. He states that he was beaten and robbed and in the hospital. His Dad apparently cancelled his cards and contested some fraudulent charges. Sounds odd, but he has a long history at RWI and he says that he cancelled the dispute so I guess we will see.

Apparently he went rogue and has blocked comms from members that he dealt with in the past. He has cut ties with all members through email comms, instagram, and other means of communication.

I trade bitcoin on the side to make a little coin. I would love it if our dealers accepted them, it's a way better and discrete payment method than paypal.
