  1. Probably a bit picky but they dont seem to be selling anymore with the engraved movement plates. Thats the one id be interested in. Even though id never see it its nice to know the details there

I paid for one from Sora (Shinewatch) and was told it will have Rotor and plate engraving. I'm wondering if people were told only the first run will have the engraving to get more pre-orders. Or Sora could be mistaken. I will know shortly when this watch arrives. I was offered 308.00 with free HK post but I paid extra 10.00 for EMS.

  2. As AKTime has indicated you would have to turn the datewheel into an overlay. It is theoretically possible with patience and effort but there are a few things you will need to check first.

    1) Is date position, size, etc correct for window in your dial

    2) Is datewheel thin enough to fit between original datewheel and back of dial

If all good then OK to go. Just be prepared for very fiddly work.

I concur with this gentleman. Aligning a DWO will test every ounce of patience that you have.

  3. I deleted it because it didn't contribute anything to the discussion. It still looks like a from what I could see in the photos provided. I wasn't being negative, I just stated that it's pointless to ask for opinions and then argue with the opinions provided. I didn't like the tone of my post and didn't feel like editing so I simply removed it.

  4. Bit coin is daft.

Every single other currency is backed by something and the exchange rate is controlled and guaranteed.

Bit coin is backed by nothing and is controlled by no-one.

Might as well pay in dried banana skins and claim each skin is worth 1KG in gold! :)

I know the value per BC has gone from $1 to $900 in just 1 year, if anyone thinks they'll be worth $900,000 in another year and is buying loads now, just please don't, unless you can afford to lose all the money. I'd hate to see anyone losing all their money.

Bitcoin is backed by the blockchain and controlled by it's SHA256 encryption hash. People want to use it because it is de-centralized and not controlled and manipulated by the government.

    [Alert] DenisSpa Scammer [Alert]

It has come to the attention of the staff that a very active member Denis Spahic from Wilmington, NC has put together an elaborate plan to scam one of our popular TD's.

His current username is DenisSpa, and please be advised to not buy or sell from this member.

He bought thousands of dollars worth of reps and then put in a PP dispute to get his money back. The dealer had to oblige out of fear of getting his assets frozen by PayPal.

He then sold one (thus far) of the charged back reps here in the M2M sales area.

He also changed his registration email to a fake one and removed his M2M sales thread pictures within hours of chargebacking our dealer.

Any information you have on Denis please contact staff immediately!

    Thanks,

    ATL"

  6. Thanks, just starting  to mess with my own watches, so sizing/changing bracelets, removing  the back and simple stuff to start.  Going to take apart some old units I do not wear anymore to kind of get the feel of it.

I recommend a sticky ball from Esslingers for opening casebacks. Mine has opened everything I ever used it on. http://www.esslinger.com/watchcaseopeningfictionball.aspx

Esslingers sells some decent beginners tool kits as well.
