Speak for yourself. I consider buying a new more accurate version of a rep to be something special, and not classifying myself as a "fool" for buying it.

I find it great and will be missing the trade section for the period it is gone (although when (read: if) it comes back, I'm sure there will be tons of people with stuff to sell as they lay their unwanted reps in the winders for now), how people mod their watches to a perfection, its an art, shaping, molding, forming something better and better with the knowledge of By-Tor, Chief, Flava, or Ubi or The Zigmeister or RBJ or tons of other members who modded for ages or have started to attempt to mod their watches recently. By changing inserts, bezels, dials, and hands to cases and movements, I admire them greatly

I was sure I wanted one up until the last posts. That's the final straw. Either buy a used from someone in europe that has proven to be in good shape or wait until there are less complaints and new batches. Evo, is my choice for now.

I think the person, like I do every single time I buy a watch, do think "I'm done" but then get intrigued "well, if they have this, maybe they have another Breit, Rollie, Pannie, in the same quality", so in my opinion it would increase their "need" for the newer, of higher quality, watches.

Precisely what I will be doing For me: Ultimate PO Steelfish Evo Big Bang Those will be my watches in the (near) future and I will sell off the rest in the course of the next few months
