I saw the strap that thefylingdutchman got from Jacob and have ordered the same from him. Have ordered this in Black gator. Will post pics when I get mine.

Thanks Theo....this has been a massive help. I bent the clasp inwards....and then it wouldn't lock at all. So bent it outwards a bit and it locked. Since then it seems to be holding up fine (am wearing the watch and it hasn't popped open in the last 20 min).....so am hoping that it's been fixed.

Theo....the clasp is the standard one with the AP logo. Something like this.... Could you pls explain what do you mean by the upper part....is the part that touches the wrist (the inner part)?

I have a few other APs and have never had this problem with them. It's a gold deployment clasp....so finding a generic replacement will be an issue.

Hi Got an AP recently which has a rep leather strap with standard rep deployment clasp. The problem is that the clasp doesn't stay closed....it locks into position but then pops open with the slightest of jerks. Is there a fix to this issue? Am afraid that the clasp will open up while I am wearing it and the watch will fall off the wrist. Thanks

I got a couple of Veyron straps....but had trouble installing them due to the size issue. Jacob is making these straps now....another member got the gummy croc strap from him and it fit just like the rubber strap...no issues. I have ordered one from him as well....takes about 3-4 weeks to make....so should be with me sometime early next month. Will report my findings here.

Hi... wondering what is the best place to get a custom gator or croc strap for an AP. I know APbands do it....any one else that does top quality work? Cheers
