I had checked with Joshua about a month back....the price was USD6.5K. I'd rather buy a nice gen @ this price point.
Now if they came up with a solid 18K AP ROO (which is fairly accurate) .... I might consider getting it.
Welcome on-board.
I would say...go with what you can carry comfortably. I have an average wrist...but love wearing watches that are 44mm and above. Right now am sporting my Hublot King Power...which is 48mm. The smallest watch I have is the UN MMD and DSSD...both 43mm.
Thought it would be a good idea to list what all watches you got this year and also how much money did you blow up to feed this hobby.
I'll start with mine (whatever I can remember as of now...will update the list later):
DSSD
UN - SS with rubber
UN - SS with bracelet
UN - RG on rubber
FM Casablanca
HBB with ceramic braclet
FM Aeternitas Toubillon
Hublot King Power - All black
Hublot King Power - Black Magic
FM Cortez King (en route)
AP RB II - Titanium
AP RB II - RG
Super Avenger
Dior Christal
Top Gun
Graham Techseal
DSN Fiddy
PWC Fiddy - ltd. ed 25
Yet another Fiddy
TAG Grand Carrera
Chopard Happy Sport Black
Zenith Defy Xtreme
RW Nabucco
Can't remember the rest now....
As for how much I have spent.....well, all I can say is...too much
I had been on the lookout for a big sized tourby for a long time...and this fits the bill very nicely.
The only thing missing on this is the lume....perhaps I can get some done.
Got this a month back from an apprentice dealer here. The watch worked fine for a week and died on me. Sent it back and got the movement replaced. All good now.
About the watch...well haven't worn it too much as the Mrs. hijacked it since the time it came in
The watch is not very heavy and wears really well. The touby movement is mesmerizing.
Some quick pics....enjoy
Thanks Zigmeister. This is super cool. If u find it difficult to work with, I'll probably have the lume all over my face before I can get a drop of it on the dial
I'll probably have to send it your way soon, if you would be up to it sir.
Btw... Is there a red lume as well?
A fairly well respected member @ RG posted about springbars recently. He tried DSN, River and Panatime and made the conclusion that the Panatime ones are by far the best.
