  1. Will take some better pics tonight with the DSLR
  2. Added some more pics on page two...including comparison shots Got the watch delivered to me about an hour back. Managed to take some quick crappy pics. My super quick observations.... The watch looks very nice and kinda massive on the wrist. Love the Chrono pushers. The movement is very smooth....everything works. The cyclop seems to be a bit under the rehaut....but not very noticable when wearing it... The watch is lighter than the standard AP ROO....this one is made in Ti...so guess that explains. The ceramic bezel is brushed.....looks uber cool...and so does the window sorta thingie under the bezel (at least won't have to worry about this one chipping/cracking like I do for my rubber clad). Mine is no. 49 or 1000....so I guess they have different serial nos. The leather strap is pretty decent and quite comfortable. Will post some better pics when home tonight.....enjoy this for now
  3. Just got the package delivered to me......rushing for a meeting....will open it after that and try taking a couple of pics.
  4. WOW......was tracking my package and it's already in Singapore.....should be with me in another few hours......be ready for some quick pics then. Cheers
  5. The back of the watch is incorrect .... not referring to the 28.8K movement.....but the case on both ends (where it joins with the strap) should have the material list marking ...like Ceramic and Stainless Steel engraved on it. This is the first HBB I have seen which is missing this.....even the lite version has it. Wonder if this is from some new factory.
  6. Very nice pics Francisco. And the watch looks awesome. The case back is missing the Materials list engraving....this model should have Ceramic and Stainless Steel engraved on it (not sure if something else as well...my watch is out for servicing).
  7. Whoa.....mate....you better get out of there....on the double. And do let us know how that noobmariner held out against the lava/ash
  8. As far as I know.....Joshua has this watch with the updated rotor. I had bought the SS version a couple of weeks back and it is stunning in person.
  9. Yup...Ken pretty much summarized it there
  10. Another half an hour of such dedicated effort and I'll cross the 1400 post mark
  11. Wear it well
  12. Thanks Ken. Nice watch in your avatar.
  13. Perfect rep..... I'd thought I'll go easy on reps this year....have already got DSSD, UN SS, UN RG, FM Casablanca and have RB AP and DSN 127 on the way
  14. Compared to some of you grouchy oldies who have no life and spend all their time here.......I really am green behind the ears
  15. Thanks guys.....great to be a part of this wonderful family.
  16. Wow....just realized that I have completed 2 years of being on rwg.....
  17. He he... Yes they'd probably refuse to sell it to him. The ADs think that Joshua is a big time collector. Which actually is a fact as apparently this is what got him into the Interestingly, every time he has picked up a watch, he has said he is picking it up on behalf of the manufacturer. I guess they all share the initial cost and then reap in the profits. Imagine... Pick up a gen for 20k.. Spend another 10k for repping(which is extreme).... Cost of manufacturing perhaps $150. Watches sold for $500+. Do the math as to how many they need to sell to break even. And don't forget, the gen gets sold back again in the market.
  18. For a selected few models ... They do buy gens. I have communicated with Joshua a couple Of times when he was @ a watch showroom in Singapore picking up a gen or Pre-ordering it. I was communicating with him when he picked up the UN. He has also picked up another watch recently for repping. This watch costs in excess of 26k sing$. We can expect the reps rolling out in about 9 months. As such he is also pretty knowledgeable about watches and gets deep discounts from most AD's In Singapore. I am not defending anyone here and it's true that most watches are made from pics or are reps. All said ... The quality of so called made from gens is still better than regular reps.
  19. My understanding is that the gen RB AP is 44mm
  20. Thanks Taka. Mine should be here by Tuesday.....will bring it to the next gtg Cheers
  21. An interesting project and excellent results. Kudos.
  22. Guys any idea what kinds screwdriver to use for opening up the bezel and strap screws? Looks pretty unique.
  23. Pics..or it never happened
  24. So did you use it? Is it the same one that sends an emergency beacon/gps signal type? How do you actually use this feature.....unscrew the cap and press some button? Thought so....very nice watch indeed
  25. Wow....very nice. Is that a gen or a rep?
