Honestly...not a biggie with the bracelet tapering on AP ROO. In-fact, between the three....AP is the only one you can get with a steel bracelet (unless you consider the new breed of HBBs that have come with bracelets) Cheers

It is fugly indeed I am waiting for the black dial AP ROO in RG to come out....the AP logo and rehaut seems to be fixed....hope they can fix the sub-dial rings/dividers as well.

Are you looking to use only Wood or can you use any metallic finish as well? Would be intersting to see how this might look with a silver'ish body and perhaps also a full black one.

Good choices mate.....interestingly...I have all three of them (HBB RG/Ceramic, AP ROO Rubberclad with Steel bracelet, UN SS & RG both....black face) I am planning on getting the RG AP ROO....but waiting for black dial version. I would say....from a visual perspective....all three of them are fairly close to the gens. All of them have their quircks as well.... ...HBB has a sunken datewheel/Rotor has stickers on it (depending on what version you buy).... ...AP ROO....no AR on cyclop.....I got the rubber bezel replaced and it's been holding up pretty good since then. But if you go for all steel...you can't go wrong with it. ...UN (I have both SS and RG black)....very nice feel....rotor is pretty good too....however, the rotor and caseback markings on the RG are completely off.....basically they are the same as the SS version...just RG plated. Of the three....AP wears the biggest....followed by HBB and then the UN. Hope this helps. Cheers

Wow...this is amazing mate. Excellent tutorial. This one should become a sticky. This has been one of my biggest gripes with the A7750 movements....and now thanks to you....there seems to be a solution. Though my watch tinkering skills are non-existant....am sure I can buy the parts and get a watchsmith to do this. Do any of our modders on-board do this? Cheers

Interestingly....Hont provides a mix-n-match for HBBs....pick your bezel/dial/style etc.

I am picking up mine in a couple of hours and will post pics/wristies. As for the watch being too thick.... Mate, for me it's an issue of percepton and how comfortable one feels/whether you can carry it off. My wrist size is smaller than yours but I love wearing big/chunky watches. And not once has anyone told me that they look too big on my wrist.

What did you use to remove the scratches from the clasp?.....CapeCod?

Asked Josh about this. He says that for the sub dials there is a divider and not a ring that was there in the ealier version. Any idea what is this divider?

I am sooooo close to ordering this one with black dial. Just waiting for a confirmation from AP experts that this is visually accurate. Anyone?
