Got a call back from the AD. They are happy to sell only the bracelet. Said they have to check if it's in stock....else will have to order one. The price.....$1650 (Sing$2,500) for a SS bracelet. Have to be outta your mind to buy a bracelet for this much moolah

Of late I have been staying away from Gold reps because of the quality of the gold coating. Came across this site... artisanplating.com .... these guys offer proper gold plating on watches.....1 micron to 10 micron and above. Am really tempted to try them out by sending them a watch head. Anyone have any experience/know about these guys? Cheers

Wow....Robbie...the gen looks hot in the pic above. Just noticed that the gen has black screws in the strap midlinks and the rep has gold ones.... Also....the pearl in the rep looks really sunken in

A good looking watch....but am staying away from this one for now. My experience with the rep gold plating has been sort of mixed. My HBB gold is fantastic......whereas some other watches look pale after some time. I gotta find myself someplace which can do gold plating .....anyone know of such a place?

Mate...there is an excellent review of the movement done......read it. I have had my sec @ 12 for over 6 months now.....going strong....no issues with the movement at all.

I second the motion of having a new section Pho....btw....how is the UN holding up after a week/10 days use? Any scratches/movement issues/strap/falling screws problems? Mine should be with me on Monday....can't wait.....

Amazing strap....brings out the beauty of the watch. I have a couple of straps from Peter and love them. Nice guy...even better straps.

Wonder if it's possible to buy a gen dial for the Casablanca.....not seen any on the bay as well. Another thing is....whether the cut-out for the datewindow on the gen dial fit properly over the rep.

Thanks again. As such...$1500 for a rubber/Ti strap on a watch that costs $5-7K seems rather excessive. From the cost perspective....99% of the cost (design/R&D/Material etc.) would be for the watch head itself.

I also have a gen Kirium that I got some 10 years back....white face. Let me ask Tag here if they sell the dial only. Will let ya know.

So am hoping it'll work out......but $1200 for a bracelet....hmmmm.....i'd rather buy 3 more reps Will update once I have spoken to the AD again. Cheers

Ok....found out from Lani's review that the lug width is 22mm....now to find out if this is the same size on the gen.
