I am trying to source a gen UN steel bracelet for my incoming UN Maxi Marine. Can someone pls tell me the strap width on the rep and the gen? Am trying to figure out if the gen bracelet will fit the rep. Cheers

Guys.....we have trusted dealers on the forum here. They have been vetted by the Admin/mod teams and in case of a screw up....there is some recourse in the way of asking the Admins to mediate to some extent. And when a dealer's business practices take a nose dive....the Admin team does step up and take action. There have been instances of dealers who were de-listed from the board beacuse of the same reason. Why on earth would you want to take a risk in going with an unknown quantity.....unless you have a great appetite for risk To all the new members here...... Stick to the dealers in the forum....you might save a few dollars going with other dealers....but believe you me....you will save a lot more money by not having to spend on Anxiety, heart, hair loss and stress buster medicines Cheers

Lani...hold on for a while. I had checked with Josh and the black updated dial (with "6" cutoff by date window) is coming out after CNY. I am also waiting on that one...if it's not nice...then will get the white face pictured above. Cheers

Mate....with dimensions like Width 39.5mm x Ht 55mm x 18mm Thk....Casablanca is hardly small, thin or dressy. Did you go for the "updated dial" version where the "6" is cut-off by the date window? Post some pics when you get the watch.

Welcome to the board mate. As for getting your reps serviced....it's a good idea. However, 9 times of out 10...a new rep will probably run good for a few months to over a year before it requires any servicing. Having said that....if you get the watch serviced on day one (not something that most members here do)..........you are definitely ensuring that your watch runs for a long time. You can get the watch serviced by any of our resident experts or a your local rep-friendly watchsmith. As for the cost.....shouldn't cost too much....but depends on the movement and the level of servicing required (e.g. do you want waterproofing done, main spring replaced, gaskets replaced etc.) Hope this helps.

Ginormous Love the Grahams....plus I have leather straps for both of them from Peter Gunny It's a rep mate....but I love it....and the wife insists that I wear it often (she has a soft corner for steel bracelet watches ) It's a PAM 111h....got it custom made from Vac. All the usual mods + chief's double AR and I got him to do the orange/yellow lume on this.....glows like a torch

Ok...got the answer. The last date of shipment from China is the 18th of Jan and deliveries will resume on the 10th of Feb. Cheers

I have just sent a mail to Josh asking the closure dates. Am considering getting the FM Casablanca with updated dial and the UN Red/Black. I want the FM in black dial...which is not here yet....so might go with the UN. Want to ensure that the watch gets to me before CNY.
