So....is it that the watch has a special pvd applied on....and not dlc?

During my conversation with Josh regarding the high cost of the blacksteel compared to normal skyland.....he mentioned: "The price is justifcable. The pvd process is expensive. The individual serial nos and the choice of numbers.. All cost money." The question again....is it justifiable? I really like the watch but $200 for pvd and numbering......???

Looking to order a gunny strap for BP. Can someone pls share as to what is the strap size for BP. I want to use the deployment buckle that comes with the watch. Thanks

Same here. Want to pick up a tourby and have sent a couple of mails to Homer over the last week. Still waiting for a response. His auctions on ebay are still active though.

The movement in V2 is definintely a suspect. My Grey V2 has been with the dealer for replacement as it died on me.

Doesn't say it's PVD and looks a lot like DLC....but can't be sure.

Price is finally listed on Josh's site....$328 for the 28.8K version. The 21K version is being sold for $10 less and has no AR.

Thanks mate. Will keep a look-out on the bay. Would you be able to confirm if the gen dial will fit this rep (the gen dial has 6 cut-off and bolder numbers on the top)......as such it should if the date window cut-out position is in the same place. Can't wait to get this baby on my wrist.

@archibald......you are right. The gen is selling for about $11K. Not sure about the serial no. but at least they got the model no. correct and the caseback engravings seem fairly decent. Any tips on where to get a gen dial for this watch.....or would it be possible for you to buy one for me....if you have a source. Cheers

The gen also comes with an option of leather and rubber.

The watch will be released next week. Visually....the models relased couple of weeks back with the 21K movement look to be more accurate (cut off 6 etc.). The movement though is a big question.

Saw it mid last week. Good movie....but not a patch on Casino Royale. QoS is like a more typical bond flick with a lot more action. Worth a watch.

Yes....get double AR and super-lume on this.....and should be alright. Wonder if a gen dial will fit this....it should if the position of the date window and the dial size is the same. Anyone can help with this?
