  1. Hmmm...King is a fairly good dealer. Am surprised that she can't procure them for HBBs......should be pretty easy. Hope you find them soon. Cheers
  2. Got the RW Nabucco yesterday. First thing you notice about the watch....it's humungous! @46mm...it wears like something that's 48mm or even bigger. In terms of weight....the AP ROO steel feels like feather. Construction.....very very well built. Can't find any flaw. The dial is very well detailed - carbon fiber, the chrono pushers are screw-down and the crown is nice/big and has the proper logo. The bracelet mid-links are also carbon fiber coated (the gen has carbon fiber plates glued on top of steel....and the rep is the same I guess). It has pretty decent AR.....but nowehere close to what I have on the C1.....there is a blue-ish tint to the crystal. Lume is farily good too. Best of all....got a very sweet deal on it.....compared to what it's selling @ most places. On to the pics..... Got the RW Nabucco yesterday. 3. Well done mate. I must now get back to posting another 500 "nice watch" posts Cheers
  4. Got two straps from Peter today for my Graham Divers. Love the Divers but the rubber straps have been bothering me for some time now (they make the watch look like a cheap toy). I can immediately feel the difference....makes the watch looks more refined and make it look like a million $$ watch Here are some before and after pics taken from my phone cam. Will upload some decent pics tonight. SS Diver Before After PVD Diver Before After Side by Side
  5. That's a good deal.....ain't it? two side bezel movement for the price of one This sucks mate.....am sure Josh will send you another bezel.... Cheers
  6. Good idea....gift it to him.....tell him you paid some [censored] loads of money for it and had to massage some egos to get it.......then ask for a raise
  7. Rolex Noob question - why would one want to bleach the insert?
  8. Well.....whadya know.....am wearing my PO today Quick pics from my cam phone:

    Question...

    Happy birthday mate Cheers
  10. Very nice watch. Perhaps the closest to the gen HBB since it has a closed back. So even if you don't get an engraved rotor....you should be fine. Cheers
  11. Guys....where can I see pics of the RG C1? Saw them sometime back but can't find the link now. Cheers Edit: found it....thanks
  12. Am not into Rolexes....but that's a damn good tip. Cheers
  13. There is a thread over @ Sparta where a dealer has put this up for sale. 21.6k movement.....theoritically should be possible to swap for an ETA. The maker of the first C1 are the same guys who came out with HBB. No clue about the 2nd one. The movement even has a non-functional regulator The price is about $150 less than the HBB maker's version. Am posting some pics from the dealer (Admins....feel free to remove them if they contravene any rules)
  14. If I am not mistaken, there are two makers of the C1. The different dial colors are from the 2nd maker and use the 21K movement....and this watch is considerably cheaper as well. The first version C1 uses the 28.8k movement. Cheers
  15. I love Homer's tourby.....got my eyes on the Gold with White face. My problem is that the watch is some 39mm....and I am used to bug watches.....bare min. I would normally wear is a 42mm. River has a PAM style tourby....but that's too sporty for my liking. Still on the lookout for a big tourby
  16. Ok guys.....went to the shop and had a chat. I had written down all nos. on a piece of paper and showed it to them.....(they started off by asking if I was a dealer ) They can source the crystal for 16610.....takes a week - 10 days....cost about S$250-$300 (Sing$). For the rest....especially for the 6263....they were kinda open mouthed.... As I said, I don't much know about the rolex nos......so couldn't really have an intelligent conversation with them. What they did offer was a 16610 Submariner Black (the entire watch) for S$ 5700 (old model) and S$6300 (new model)....with certificate and papers 16613 Blue (entire watch).....S6400....no papers. Anyone interested in this....you may want to check out Golden Landmark Shopping Centre in Singapore.....lots of watchsmiths there. Cheers
  17. Mate...you sure you did search for it? I just did a search and got lotsa hits. I have had mine for a month now.....and its a lovely watch. You can see some details here: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=78738 Cheers

Do you know where to find this dog mate?
  19. Ok guys.....didn't know there was so much of interest in Rolex dials......and I have no friggin clue what a 16610, 6263 or a 16613 is.....am sure the watchsmith will probably have an idea. As it happens, I might be going to the same mall again today to collect a watch which had some hands come loose. Will try having a conversation with this shopkeeper to see what's the deal with them. Would probably have been better if it was someone who had some knowdlege on Rolexes (other than spelling them and whatever lil I have seen of them here......I am in la la land about them). Will update you guy in a few hours about this. Another thing.....as I had mentioned above.....a lot of dials were what would fall under the vintage category....with some looking in pristine condition. Cheers
  20. Went to get my watch fixed to this shopping centre in Singapore that has a lot of watchsmiths. Was strolling around, when I came upon this shop.... in the display window they had something like 30 - 40 Rolex dials on displays.....all sorts....black, gold, white......mix of new + old....but most of them seem a little used/vintage. Looking @ the shop, am sure, they also carry other watch parts well. They also had a sign on the window wanting to buy some particular rolex. Personally, I have never taken a liking to rolex and don't own even a single rolex rep (my knowledge on rolexes is prety limited) Not sure how easy/difficult it is to get gen Rolex dials....thought I'll share the info. Cheers p.s. Other than rolex, they had dials for Omega, Zenith and a lot of other brands.
  21. What about Grand Carreras? Anyone got them?
