Asian2813 hibeat in BP Ceramic, not Asian2836clone
ProMariner replied to Smab's topic in The Omega Area
The OP has definitely a CH8836, mine died on my 1680 and I swapped it with another CH8836 that I bought from watch parts.com and I also used ETA hand, they uses the same hand size trust me. But concerning parts I am not sure they are all interchangeable but from my experience: same hand size and same size movement -
Asian2813 hibeat in BP Ceramic, not Asian2836clone
ProMariner replied to Smab's topic in The Omega Area
Actually I had two cheap high beat movement in my watches, I had once a 1680 red sub with a CH8836 (clone of the A2836-2): hands are interchangeable with the ETA 2836 by the way .. Link:http://www.allwatchparts.com/-Chinese-Automatic-8836-Mechanical-Movement_p_921.html And I had a DG2813-2 from seagull (you know with the colored gears and it quick set the date clockwise) which was gold plated, and high beat 28800bph. This movement was inside my 5513 meters firs dial: You can see in my QC pics that both are at 28800bph. The real dg2813 is the seagull/nanning one, the other movement that we all know as a miyota clone with hacking fonction which looks like this: Is a different cheap movement and a clone of the miyota 8215, it doesn't set the date the same way and the dial feet position are different. And it only exist in low beat: 21600bph The DG2813 can exist in two version: Low beat at 21600bph like my BP 114060 And high beat DG2813-2 in gold plated like the previous picture inside my 5513 ! Hope this will help you ! -

Actually it is not a 2813 but a CH8836 which is a clone of the Asian clone A2836-2 which is also a clone of the ETA .. Lol It is high beat and parts are interchangeable, and it is 25j -
Since 2010 when i heard that the World Cup will occur in Brazil, it will be probably Brazil.. But if Brazil face France, it will be over for them lol

Democracy doesn't mean non corruption, the most corrupted countries are not those who we are thinking trust me, but I get your point. -
What would you pay for a genuine Sub Ceramic Bezel?
ProMariner replied to juicemouse's topic in The Rolex Area
Of course you can get that back buddy ! We are talking about a Rolex part, an extremely rare Rolex part! The thing is, I don't have a gen yet and I will never stick a 1k€ Rolex part on my rep watch .. So I don't see the point to buy one -

ProMariner replied to juicemouse's topic in The Rolex Area
A DSSD genuine insert cost around 800€ so I think a genuine sub c insert will cost around 1100€ because it is more rare to find one. But personally I would never spend that money for an insert even if it is gen, I prefer save up some money to get a gen 116610LN or 114060 -
Thanks mate, a submariner is a must for every Rolex lover !

Thank you buddy !

Here are some pictures of the Submariner's lover ! They are so freaking close to gen, I still can not believe that when I look at them, they are awesome !!!

Today I received my BP Submariner 116618LN powered by a DG2813, that I got from a member here ! I am not a gold fan, but this this Submariner caught me ! IMO the LN version is more sober than the 116618LB version which is more bling bling. The 116618LN is not as usual as the LB full gold is, so it also makes it very special. The submariner has this particular aspect, that allows you to look good with it on your wrist whatever your cloths style ! You can wear flip flop and a submariner, or a highly expensive tuxedo with Richelieu, you will still look good with it on your wrist. Now for the features. I am as always amazed by the BP sub c. This one like the others has a gen like case which is 1:1 to gen, it also have a gen like bezel construction, it clicks 120times and clicks are firm, it doesn't feel like a cheap watch when you turn the bezel it is impressive. The ceramic bezel insert has fat numerals and they are deeply engraved. The pearl looks awesome ! It is super lumed and it has a correct Lume not the dark blue one or the greenish one. BP dials are just impressive in how close to gen they are ! It has a good AR on the cyclop magnification. The date mag on the crystal is correct 2,5x but I read that the sapphire crystal gasket is a little but higher than gen so it is a little bit note zoomed but I didn't noticed that as it doesn't bug me. The SEL fits perfectly between the lugs with no space between them and that is one of the characteristic of the gen ! And i gotta say that i am impressed by the quality of the gold plated, it hasn't any stains on it l, and the bracelet including the buckle (glidelock) are great. BTW the rehaut is perfectly aligned with the dial markers, and the LEC is hardly noticeable. Some people think that the LEC on the BP is noticeable, but it doesn't bother me, I don't see it when I look at the dial, I can see it in some special angles with some light on the sapphire crystal. Well it is a really an impressive time piece and I am very happy with it. I am know thinking about the whole BP ceramic range. Maybe I will pull the trigger on a 116610LV and the smurf 116619LB. Here are some pictures: You can see in looking at the dial that it is a 116618LN Mark I dial launched in 2008 Here is the gen Mark II dial: Here is the gen Mark I dial: The BP again: Much closer look at the dial: Gen Mark I dial: Side view, the crown logo on the crown looks awesome !! Here is the final wrist shot !

Finally got a chance to put this together last night
ProMariner replied to Chuck P's topic in The Rolex Area
The opposite, you are in good health Beautiful watch, I love the dial but why does the pearl looks funny like this lol ? -
BP sub are great and excellent pieces for the price but they always f*** up with their insert, engraved and depth numerals markers is great but not very well centered and aligned, try to ask another insert, because I think you will need to buy another one if you can not live with it !
