It won't fit the 7753 is too think for the gen 116520 case which is supposed to welcome a 4130 caliber. And as said above even it if would fit you don't want to use that movement for those gen parts ! And I HIGHLY doubt that a gen set of 4130 caliber hands and a gen 116520 dial will fit this movement because the space between the subdials is certainly different from the movement configuration.
Go get a 4130 caliber I saw one for sale the other day on eBay ...
What daytona case do you have ?? 62XX ? 165XX ? 1165XX ?
Because this movement won't fit any gen case of that type ! This movement is used on the 1165XX daytona replica with sec at 6 and the rep cases are fat to accept this 7750 clone movement because of its thickness. This is why the rep 1165XX cases aren't 1:1.
Final answer is no my friend
Yeah it is pretty close to gen !
I have bought a compté gen bezel assembly for mine as I told you I will do if you remember I am having all the needed parts for the build except the ETA ring for the 15xx caliber cases.
Could you please some more picture of your 5514 bro ? It inspires me a lot
I know that you can get a 18k solid gold aftermarket case without the engravings from startime but you need a Licence to be able to order from them and the cases are for Datejust and Daydate (38mm)
I think I will go gen though it will save me from trouble .. I have tried a lot of aftermarket bezel assembly and figure that none of them were gen specs. I admit that I have never used an ST assembly but I have already lost some money with those cheap aftermarket bezels.
Thank you , this is my 5514 phong comex with gen t19 ! I will install a genuine service complete bezel assembly on it and it will look even better
If you want to go with a t19 on your 1680 go for a gen service t19 it worth every cents and it is away superior quality of any aftermarket Crystal or gen old and used t19 that won't guarentee the same water resistance than a brand new gen t19
Mate can I ask you what kind of rings have you used to retain the ETA movement on your phong case. Because I have the same case as yours and an ETA 2824, but not sure what movement retainer ring should I get? (The one from Yuki ? Or an HH or another one ?)
Thanks Wil!
It might be based on a TC midcase, but from what I can see the insert, dial and rehaut match perfectly well the description of the mark IV and I personally never saw such a well replicated Mark IV dial.
Where did you get this pictures from ? What is the origins of the watch ? BTW why the phuck the guy in the picture shave his arm lol ??!!
It is a 100% genuine MK IV 16610LV.
Slim 4 bezel, no rehaut, the dial is an MK IV DIAL, and everything else looks perfect, as the Cg's as the SEL/lugs fitment,
Here is the MK IV from submariner story book:
The mk V use the same dial and insert but has rehaut engraved.
