I think I can answer that. There is a new regulation inforce from 12th sept 2011 for most countries (European, US and others). All items shipped must have an invoice. I ship quite a bit from the US to UK, my courier company I use told me. Its to clamp down on VAT and Duty dodgers (like we'd do that, lol) If there is no invoice to validate value of item, then customs have the right to hold or impound the item. Probably only if you can prove it is a gift or person to person posting you might have a chance of not being held up. Just our system screwing us again....

Hi another uk poster. I agree mostly what pugwash is saying . Interesting to see what our Us friends think about all this... The original 'riot ' in London was supposedly about the police shooting a black man in London, who was assumed armed and dangerous. Then all hell broke loose that night. Yes there appears to be a lot of black, some asian and white teenagers rioting. The thing is it wasn't a riot. Just an excuse to cause damage shops, rob and attack other people. If you must use flash and don't have or don't want to spend 300GPB on ring flash. Either use a diffuser box or a piece of thin cotton cloth over the lense of the flashgun. Don't those galleries make you want to buy more? lol. Almost forgot, use pre-flash metering for better results

Use a circ polariser to reduce reflections, a light box is useful

Great review, I'm now looking myself... Jake, if you're using a DSLR get a circular polarising filter. You can use it to remove (filter out) the reflections when phographing anything shiny, due to the way it filters light. Very good on glass reflections, allows one to see through the reflection. If you need any clarification on using polarisers, just ask.

That aside, I'm interested to know (and prob a few others) what differences -if any - between Neil's and Josh's MBKs. As they should both have come from MBK ? And the price diff... you make up your own mind on that one. As for Skype, like any other program that initates two comms, there is always a certain amount of risk. I'm sure you all use a real time AV and a firewall (use a third party one ie not MS) I've been a Security consultant for over 10yrs so I know a little about the subject. that's interesting about the YM asian, as there are distinct differences between the two. If this is an old version I'll not be ordering from the dealer from one of our reg collectors. I even told him I was not happy with it, didn't get anywhere... Face is too yellow, lume too yellow, the asian mov feels cheap - I suppose it is, lol. - ANy way I took the inlay off it for my ETA, so I have a few spares now. I could not have got the noob factory ver. I probably will not have time this weekend - only home for 1 day - to take some proper pics. But will take them the following week. there are minor diffs between the asia and the eta models I have, less than a couple of months between buying them. Hi, I'm one of those unusual types that I am a YM SS fan. I bought an ETA ROLY YM from Andrew a few months back, very impressed with the detail. I've visited a AD local to me to compare so I can mod where required. Mods required: 1. CGs, I have not found a YM rep with correct CGs easy to mod, but very hard to make perfect. 2. Asian ver has soft teeth on the bezel and should be sharp, they are sharp on Andrew's ETA ver. 3. Asian has a better bezel inlay than the ETA one from Andrew, so I swapped it for the asian inlay. 4. Bezel clicks better on the ETA version (quite firm), asian too slack, moves too easy. 5. Cyclops is marginally too far right on the ETA, but correct mag. 6. Cheap asian (60GBP) is not bad for the money. But nowhere near the ETA ver. 7. Face fonts and colour very good on the ETA ver. btw I have another YM TT on order from Andrew, might arrive before xmas. When I have time (I work away from home most of the time) I'll take some pics to compare diff vers.
