It depends what you are after....... There are TD's with huge WEB Sites and TD's with a smaller number of offerings. There are TD's that will accept PayPal from newbs and others who won't, until you build a positive history with them.
Over the years, I have come to favor the smaller TD's like Toro and Intime. I find they have time to give me more personalized service and take great care to select pieces for me that are top quality. Some of the superstore type TD's like Trusty and Puretime seem to have so much volume that they lose some of that personalized service.
Of course if the smaller TD does not have the model you want, then you need to try the big guys.

I have several PAM Subs and have no problem taking any of them into the ocean swimming. If you're planning to dive deeper, you may want to buy one and have it serviced/waterproofed by a watchmaker.
As to the Swiss movement, I don't recall seeing any TD, selling PAM Subs with them. Typically they come with the A7750 and a few are offered with Seagull movements. In this non-chrono application, they are typically quite reliable. Swiss movements in reps from China are often of worse quality than the Chinese movements.

Very few people comment on my watches. An amazing number of people don't even wear one at all these days. I suppose the advent of the cell phone has contributed a lot to that.
Every now and then, one of my 47mm PAM's or my Pumpkin PO will get some minimal notice.

Nice combo! I'm on the fence about getting one. Love the Pam 47mm Subs but not sure about the carbon Fiber look.

Like everything else in life, YMMV........ I think the Seawolf is an awesome design and my yellow dial SW gets loads of wrist time. If they'd re-issue the Blue Dial version, I'd scoop it up in a heartbeat.

I wish I could get the frequent flyer miles it has piled up! ;-)

Agreed. I have the tracking history printed out along with my shipping details and will head to the post office this afternoon.

Hi All......
Has anyone had experience in intercepting a package that is "stuck" in the USPS system? I have a piece that I shipped from Boston to Chicago on December 8th on a mtm deal. The buyer insists the address is correct and valid. As of January 8th (today) the package is on it's 3rd trip to Chicago! Tracking (below) shows the delivery address is not valid. It gets returned to Providence RI, then sent back to Chicago again! Fortunately, the buyer and I have been in constant contact and he is very understanding.........

Send a photo of the gen version you are interested in to several TD's. Hopefully, they will respond quickly with any knowledge they have on upcoming releases.
-
WOW! Now that is shipping!
Crazy! Handed over to DHL on Monday and delivered here on Wednesday.

I'm sure I'd feel like a real dummy if I got scammed, but suicide? This guy had way bigger emotional problems than a fake Rollie caused. Anyone who spends thousands for a watch on eBay IMO, is gambling their money just as if they were laying a $5000 bet on black or red in Vegas. Personally, I'd never spend that kind of $$$$ on something I couldn't hold in my hand first.
