Since the Chicago mess began to have an impact, I have bought only a couple of pieces. Both from Intime, both shipped EMS and both entered through NYC.
I have read that some TD's are refusing to use EMS and using DHL or HK Mail only, but I have not encountered that personally.

Nothing to worry about hockeyguy. You'll find plenty of quirky things in the process of learning this hobby. Stick with TD's like Trusty and you'll be fine.

I have 4 pieces with 7750's and 2 with 7753's. I've only had issues with one of the 7750's and that was because I dropped it!
Vac fixed me up and serviced it at the same time. I have no problems with the 7750's in standard configuration. I have none of the seconds at 6 or 12 versions. Those are the ones to avoid.

Just be up front with him and ask. He'll either help, or send you away.

Never said it made sense!

And, on top of all that, I sprung for a GEN SuperOcean Black/Yellow strap to go on it for an additional $275!
I do not know guys figure 418 + shipping then send out to get movement serviced ( may get a good swiss may not) then have work done to ensure water tight ( make sure crystel set right, gaskets , silicone them whatever............). Now I just was looking at some micro brand divers a lot less, new movement you just hit the water.(not like I need to get one have plenty) I guess the question is do you want to hit the beach with a non descript brand watch that looks pretty good and gets the job done or pay a bit more and have a Breitling Seawolf on your wrist. I have gone both ways over the years and really do not care what people think (no one knew what I was wearing anyway on the rep ones 99% of time) but I do like the look of this watch regardless of brand. So could have in and ready for vacation but still would have to bring a gen diver or two just in case it craps out with 8 days daily in the Atlantic. Tough call.

I got one of them when they were available the last time ~~ 18 months ago. Also with the Swiss ETA. Gotta admit it runs and keeps time perfectly. It's one of my favorite pieces and a loooong term keeper.

Nice choices!

I've wondered the same thing, especially since they are listed as having Swiss ETA movements..... I'd be more excited if there was a blue dial model listed! ;-)

If it's not the exact piece you are looking for, pass and wait. You won't be happy when your grail does show up!
