  2. I was sitting down to review my awesome big bang and take some pictures and low and behold after 2 days a screw has fallen out. I have emailed andrew and not sure when he will get back to me. Does anyone have a source for extra screws and a tool to put them back in? I am really disappointed with such a great watch being marred by sloppy assembly. Any help?
  3. Here is a question to those who think it is OK to not be honest about shipping, dead tracking numbers and poor communication. If the same thing happened on ebay, wouldn't it take a fraction of this type of behavior to warrant negative feedback?

  5. I do not want to go into the eddie lee thing just that he has a bunch of peoples money and no working tracking numbers and no communication... i guess when it comes down to it most of the stuff we get sent is at heart.......junk......or fixer uppers....

  7. I am not writing about delivery time at all only about dishonest emails from him and lack of communication. The guy may not be a thief or scam artist but he is sketchy and not all that honest in my dealings with him. It is my fault though, i had a bad watch from him that he never made good on and yet I still ordered this watch....totally my error.....i was seduced by this watch being an all time favorite of mine.
  8. BS???? How is it BS? I am glad you have had good experiences with your purchases but that does not invalidate what is going on here. You can put your 2 cents in in telling us that you have had no trouble but do not call the issue with eddie in this situation "BS" Do you think we are all making this up? Does finepics have over 10000 dollars(estimating about 30 orders for this... a guess) of the forums money and will not even post an update to the situation or answer emails unless they are about new orders?.......i doubt it. I am glad you have not had to experience this with eddie but we want better communication on this and calling it BS just feeds the problem.
  9. Eddie will not respond to any emails regarding if the watch has actually shipped. The tracking numbers are all still dead after 3-4 days. This whole thing is a mess and really a shame. I mentioned in the other thread, I sent a new sale inquiry from a buisness email and he responded in 5 mins yet our money is in his hands and he will not respond to us or the forums.... a shame.....
  10. the tracking is terrible usually but when the item leaves tawianese customs it will show up in the system but beyond that it is not good at "tracking" the package. It is pretty obvious that none of these watches have left tawian yet or there is a problem with everyones tracking number.
  11. well i got a tracking number from him days ago and it still does not register in the system. Every tracking number i get from josh and andrew at least shows up in system with in 24 hours....(i know they are useless beyond that) I would be shocked if these watches have left tawian yet especally since eddie will NOT respond to any email concerning the matter but responded to a sale inquiry from my work address within 5 mins.

  14. Since eddie will not return emails....the tracking number I got from him starts with EE.....What service is that? EMS? I tried tracking it(ems) and it says not found for the past 2 days. I know tracking numbers are flaky but josh and andrews always say something after a day even if it is not helpful. Thanks for any help chad
  15. Every email I have ever gotten from him has said....."send wirelessly via blackberry" so no excuse really............
  16. I guess on mine it is the opposite. It will not stop until I push the reset button(which while running does nothing) I just got it but with customs and the pain of sending it back I wanted to check here for simple solutions. It seems to work fine some of the time.
  17. I do not want to claim that eddie is doing a "bad job" to multiple people just that I would like to see his after sale communication and honesty in emails improved. It is not a witch hunt but if it bothers enough people next time it might not happen this way.
  18. I have a new 7753 daylight and while it keeps good time, the pushers are strange. When I start the chrono the same button cannot be pushed again to stop it. If i push the bottom while it is running it does something to the top button to give it that "click" again and then I can stop it. Sometimes it does not start at all unless i push it a few times and get that "click". Is there anything that can be done about this? Simple problem or 688 dollar dog? Andrew said to "turn" the pushers........I have no idea what that means. Any help to fix this problem? thanks
  19. I also now have a tracking number to update... If I get the watch as shown and it is great I will post a great review for eddie as fast as I posted that I wanted better communication from him.
  20. I have had great dealings with eddie also but remember this board is set up so that we should help people with the 5 percent of his transactions that go bad. There is something going on with this watch and eddie is NOT telling is about it. While I can see how people want to post "Eddie is the best and a humanitarian and was the best man at my wedding and donates his profits to the homeless" it just does not solve this issue or make him say next time "you know what, I have follow up on my sales next time". Remember, i am not demanding a watch be here tommorow I am only asking for a returned email or an explanation. Also, maybe 30-40 of us ordered this watch....that is over 10 grand. People say he is not full time like josh and andrew. If I had 10 grand of the forums money I would probably send out an email or follow up on a post but I am just crazy like that i guess. On a positive note I had a big order with andrew and would like to thank him for quick shipping and communication after the holiday when I know he was swamped with back orders. A great example for all transactions.
  21. For the record I did not say I got 3-4 that did not work. I have gotten 5 from him with one that I cannot get him to replace....that is all. 4 worked great and were shipped lighting fast. Thus my continued support of him. This is why I cannot come to this board with a problem. I have rarely seen anyone be successful either doing it. The dealers are infallible and the attitude here is absolutely insane regarding these kind of things. I cannot even get people to support our dealers communicating better. People can flat out have stories of mis dealings with dealers and all they get here is the "so and so is the man and my best friend and can do wrong" You would think most of the dealers here have been the best man in most peoples weddings. I am not TRASHING eddie. He has been NOT straight forward in emails with me and has my money. He had just publicly not followed through what he said he would in the main forum. He will not tell us what the issues with this watch are. That is not crap just because you had good dealings with him or think he is your best friend. I LIKE Eddie too and like the stuff he gets me but there is a line and if we draw no line things will get worse with our dealings. So on that note bring on the "Eddie is the man and donates his profits to aids research and feeding the homeless and has just won the noble peace prize for is work in repology and can do no wrong" i give up.........

  23. Well my case and point with the whole issue is that eddie fails to communicate...josh and andrew DO NOT work like this. He has not followed up on this post and continues to not send tracking or information to those who have ordered. He stated something above and did not follow through.
