  1. So I placed an order with Puretime today, and chose CC payment. Which took me to a portal, I input my information, and submitted. The portal told me payment was successful, and I was directed back to Puretime's site, which then told me there was an error processing the payment... I checked my Visa account, and I was in fact charged for the transaction. Anyone else had this experience? I will email Angus and ensure there are no problems, but as my first order from him, I was curious. I haven't had this come up with the other TD's before.
  2. So, in a complete display of my ignorance, today I discovered that the gen White Ploppy, actually HAS happy feet... as seen here: http://www.omegawatches.com/collection/seamaster/ploprof-1200-m/co-axial/22432552104001 So, it appears that the Black Ploppy, and White Ploppy, are different in that the black dial does NOT have happy feet logo, and the white dial does. Amazing... No wonder I can't find the non-happy feet version. I apologize for being an idiot. Flame suit on!
  3. That's a black dial. I'm looking for White Dial.
  4. Upon searching the forums, the most recent activity about an Omega Ladymatic is from Jan 2012. I was hoping someone may have made a recent purchase from a TD (last 6-12 months) and can speak to the quality of the rep, and possibly point out which version you purchased? I'd like to get one for my wife as a gift, but I can't really find any details on the forums about their quality. Any help? Thanks!
  5. Looks like Angus has the V1 only, unless you get the $478 model... All of his seem to have happy feet except that One. Sent from my KFJWI using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks! I will reach out to Angus. Sent from my KFJWI using Tapatalk
  7. Wow... that's quite a collection I assume. Any pics you liked to share?
  8. So, I see many people have viewed this, but no one has any information. I will update this so you all know as much as I now know. According to Andrew at TT, the factories are out of stock on the White Plops. Some dealers list them as available, but Andrew says the factories are out at this time. It may be a few weeks/months before they're available again. That said, if anyone comes across a TD who actually has them in stock, please let me know! Thanks.
  9. Some if not all of the TD's will take requests via email. They will check with factories and see if they can provide them for you. If they can't, they'll let you know.
  10. That's a sharp looking rep, pcardoza.
  11. If you have the tools, you can file off the stem of the HE valve, or file down the threads so it slips into the opening and then glue it. Not ideal, but it will work. Good luck.
  12. How do you propose the TD fixes it, without you sending it back? I've never had an issue so I can't correlate, but if you want the TD to fix it, it seems logical you'd need to send it back. Ask the TD to credit you the shipping cost on a future order, maybe? Sent from my KFJWI using Tapatalk
  13. Thanks. Now to find a white model without happy feet.... Sent from my KFJWI using Tapatalk
  14. Hello all... I'm somewhat new here, but not new to reps. Purchased my first rep in 2010. Anyway... I've looked at the TD's and I can't find anyone with a White Ploprof that doesn't have happy feet... I thought this was fixed in the V1.5 or V2? Does anyone know of a TD where I can get a White Plop without the dead giveaway of the happy feet? EDIT: I should mention, I've found one Ultimate Version on TT's site, and I've emailed him about it almost two weeks ago, and I've not gotten a response. I'm not sure if he's on holiday, or what. But I'm not comfortable ordering from him if it takes that long to respond to an email. A few days, sure. Two weeks seems a bit long... TIA!
  15. Dave, congrats on the repair! Was wondering if you purchased from TT? I'm looking to purchase a white Ploprof with mesh bracelet, and not sure if it will fit correctly. I have a 7" wrist and the bracelet isn't adjustable... Any thoughts? Thanks. Sent from my KFJWI using Tapatalk
  16. Thank you for your service, sir. Sent from my KFJWI using Tapatalk
  17. Hello! I'm new here, and so glad I found this forum. It's a font of great information, and I've really enjoyed reading this last week or so. I decided to join after reading for a few days, and I'm glad I did. You all do a fabulous job of providing relevant information and helpful guides/tutorials. I bought my first rep in 2010. A Breitling Navitimer Orange Dial. I used to be an executive at a Fortune 500 Financial Firm, and that watch got a LOT of attention. It helped win some business over the years. I now work from home. I'm a sales manager for a software company... I enjoy Music (I'm also a Recording Studio owner), Sports, Cars, and of course watches! I recently purchased a TAG Calibre 36 Rep in the trader section here. It's not perfect, but I like it. It will serve as a great daily beater. I've spent significant time perusing the trusted dealers. I'm looking for a couple of models, specifically the Omega Ploprof in White with the mesh bracelet. Andrew at TT seems to be the only TD to carry that model, but the bracelet sizing on his site is inaccurate. It states 22-25mm and I understand that to be the width, not the arm size. I've emailed him twice, once about 5 days ago, and again today. I'm hoping to hear from him soon. Does anyone know about the wrist size that mesh bracelet fits? I understand they're not re-sizable and I don't want to make that mistake... I'm also looking for (and have yet to find) a Breitling Avenger Blacksteel with the Blacksteel Bracelet. I read the review by Lanikai(sp) but I can't seem to find any of the TD's who carry that model. Has it been discontinued? I see many have the rubber strap version, and I may have to settle for that. I'll keep searching the forums, though. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and say thanks for the great resource here!
