My WM9 V2 is fitted with gen bezel but it also has a gen crystal retaining ring below. This was a necessary part to install in order to use the gen bezel. I know this because Ubi did the same modification to his.

Can a gen tube be extracted from an existing case and then installed in another case? Thank you.

Thank you. I purchased the unmodded MBW 1665 from a veteran member back in '07. I am not sure how long he owned it before he sold it to me. The watch was new when I received it but I have a feeling it was in his possession for a time before that.

A rare occasion in the vlydog house but I am not wearing a watch today. Doing a lot of cooking and I hate getting my timepieces all mucked up with grease. Roasted rare breast of duck with a cherry and currant sauce will be served for our Christamas supper. I broke down the ducks this morning and now in the middle of roasting the bones for stock and rendering the fat. The fat will be used to saute the potatoes later. Going to serve this with Pinot Noir.
