Fantastic S, thanks.
yes, I have a line on several 78350's currently. Trying to make an informed decision. Your input really helps. Wouldn't mind if you could take a look at the possibilities. I am waiting on more photos.
Thank you all for the sound advice and opinions thus far. I have just asked to see more pictures and I am waiting for those to arrive. The bracelet is being sold by a veteran member of VRF and one who I have done business with before.
The first pictures seem to tell that the bracelet was re-finished. If the new photos prove that this bracelet is authentic, what would be a fair price to offer?
looking at this bracelet for possible purchase.
seller reports very good condition without stretch.
your opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
spinning the idea of getting a DW 6263...
...looking around for a gen bracelet too.
would a 78350/19 be approriate?
my source says 6265 for the above model bracelet.
thanks in advance for your help.
I was wearing my WM9 sub today and a man standing next to me was wearing what I assumed was a genuine 16610. I noticed that the crystal height of his watch seemed higher than mine. Does anyone have a profile picture that would help solve this mystery?
If this is not a wake-up call I don't know what is.
If there is anything we can do as a community just say the word; Lani.

Since I have always used a tang buckle and strap on my Skyland, I am at a loss about the working on the deployant clasp. I plan on having a strap custom made and my strap maker needs more specific dimensions before he can begin.
1) does the tail ends of a deployant strap have holes for spring bars?
2) does the clasp attach with spring bars to both tail ends or only on the short side?
3) would you be so kind as to estimate the thickness is mm at the lug versus the tail?
4) where on the strap does it start to taper? half way down?
5)Does the tail end of the strap have holes for spring bars so that the buckle can attach?
I really appreciate if you could help, Bruce
LOL,
I am composing an email to K wong as we speak. He just sent me a photo of your strap as an example. It looks fantastic! Mine will find its way strapped to my DLC'd Skyland; still deciding on the best thickness taper.
I just recently found a nice 20mm Breitling deployant clasp and I am looking to commission a custom strap. Most, if not all, of the gen and aftermarket Breitling straps for deployant are cut to lengths of 110mm/90mm.
For those of you who have had these types of straps, are the strap dimensions cut appropriately or is there a lot of slop or extra leather that is not needed?
Thank you, vlydog
S,
Love your latest acquisition. I'm really drawn to the amazing natually aged coloration of the dial and handset. It looks like it is in excellent condition overall.
