  1. just our of curiosity...why is it priced so high? i dont know that much about omega's.
  2. from what i hear, they are repping some from the defy extreme series. the only problem i see they will have is the subdial spacing....just like the ebel. i would also like to see the zenith aero repped, but again, i see them having a problem with the subdial spacing... i really could care less...i just want to see some quality zenith's repped. im a huge fan as well.
  3. cant wait for these badboys to come out! Concord C1 Black Knight Zenith Defy Extreme
  4. i agree. it is a fantastic rep! congrats on the new toy! these all come from the same factory. from what i hear, silix purchased a genuine for replication of this one. thats why nobody else could sell them until now. silix had first dibs.
  5. looks great lani! congrats on the new toy. 2 quick questions... -how is the quality of the bracelet? it looks as if the clasp is just a pull-to-open clasp. or is there a hidden button to release? -also, was wondering about the AR...is it like the blackbird AR...looks blue most of the time. or would you say its better than the bb.
  6. looks amazing richard!! get a lello datewheel and you have yourself an almost-perfect rep! congrats.
  7. i had a heritage and there was some play, but not like you described (1-2mm). 2mm is quite big when you think about it when talking about the play of a bezel. i think yours might have been flawed if it really had 2mm of play. the gen, of course would be tight and have little to no play...if thats what your asking.
  8. great info and great pics!! thanks for taking the time to do this....im really liking this one. gotta love that rubber bezel. congrats, shes a beauty!!
  9. one of the best of 2008...glad ya like it buddy!
  10. great review pix!! this has to be one of the best deals out there. i personally think i would like the version 2 strap better...i do think the the hbb strap is a little too stiff and that is probably the reason for people complaining about the clasp....softer strap will be probably eliminate the clasp problem. anyway, great job buddy!! on a side note....where are the rating things? i tried to give you a gold star, but they are not there anymore??
  11. hey thanks for the info....wish they had the defy series for zenith. they do have some nice discounts though.
  12. was kinda interested in buying one of these despite all of the flaws. just want to see some live pics first. anybody have one? impressions....pics?
  13. gen has running secs @ 12. the rep, of course has the secs at 9...should have a rep with secs @12 some time soon.
  14. congrats on the new purchase luke! they look great. prepare for many more to come
  15. the review you read was NOT from the same maker as the one that is coming out soon. the one you are talking about is already for sale...its been available for the last couple weeks.
  16. i highly doubt it will be painted. im sure they will use a PVD caoting. this is from the same maker as the hbb so im certainly expecting a quality piece...especially for the price tag these will have.
  17. angus has on his website that this will be released today...any word?
  18. the 44mm steelfish has polished sides. im sure of it. not too sure about the 42mm fish, but i wouldnt think it would be any different. check here for some pics... http://forums.timezone.com/index.php?t=msg...098#msg_3612636
  19. that looks excellent! where did you find a strap that fits this watch? it has 23mm lugs.
  20. wow great pics doc! you and hooch have the same taste in shirts as well.
  21. thats a great question anton. i have had both now..ROO from josh and this being my first mbk. i think without the hornback the only big difference is the date mag being on the dial. the fit and finish is better, but not that much better. so i guess if somebody is really stuck on the date mag issue, then it is worth it. But, for me, the hornback was the deal closer. totally transforms the watch...the pics do it no justice.
  22. wow!! could be the deal of the year here!! $400 with double AR and ceramic...great buy....congrats.
