Yeah, almost from the first time I bought a rep. I figured I'd get some real junk.. it's just the cost of saving thousands... err... tens of thousands.... I've only received a couple of junkers and consider myself lucky. Oh what fun it is to have a several thousand $$$ watch on my wrist for only a few bucks...

I don't believe this is possible without having to repaint the whole dial, you've got paint on paint. I'd be resolved to repaint the whole thing. In any case I'd (first) try to remove the white lettering with "Goof Off."..... Probably won't work. Or you could try to match the original black paint, and mask off the area, and spray over the lettering you want removed. Or forget removing it altogether and apply a black magic marker to the lettering....

Oh wait, I see one flaw, if you look close you can see it....

Yes, I give some away too... most friends and family love to get a rolex or breitling as a gift. The name means more to them than authenticity or imprecise details.
