Hi Lello, already PM you, but also want to stress that I was 100% satisfied in the past with our transaction and hope to see you still hanging around here in the future, with or without datewheels!

+ 1 on that - customs are not THAT dumb: think about if you were checking packages each day for approx. twenty years - do you think you are fooled by a small XXXXXXX (censored ) out of watch heaven Ghuangzou which weights 300 gramms and shows something solid on x-ray?

Congrats The Zigmeister, excellent work as usuall! Mine is also on the way back home, would also like to thank FGD for the heads up about the 028, Lello for Datewheel, SSurfer for the cyclops and The Zigmeister for putting everything together. When it is back it will get the final touches (Rollis PVD and a T crown) and then be ready for some nice strap, black or brown shark for me

Would this be in Germany, you could buy it and then sue him for the difference value to the real article. Wondering how this can happen to someone with ~26k ratings at 98% positive?

Unless Ferrari uses A 7750 without regulator, I would agree its fake. The question is, does he really not know?

If you mean rip a DVD for watching the movie on the iPhone, then try Handbrake. I use it on an Intel Mac, but also exists for Windows and Linux, works flawless with the right settings and is for free.

Just to show prices are chosen random, look for the same watch at the new european Seagull website: Seagull Tourbillion

I have just to say but also expected nothing less from you than perfection! -
I would second that, seller in USA, watch located in New Zealand, long inactive and the watch photos show the watch with two different straps (or two watches?)... a lot of people must have thought this is fishy bc even in bad economy there are still some who could afford this if it was real. Watch itself looks gen, I have the 2892 rep and the giveaway would be the weaker printing on the dial, the rest can be fixed.
-
Saw it myself and am following the auction, as I am spending too much on reps I thought lets buy a gen and I love the snowflake! BUT: - the hands are defenitely not gen bc. they are too long - for comparison Tudor - the (glued?) stuck bezel is not a good sign, someone already messed around - the bezel insert is aftermarket (see pearl) - no papers and box - story about buying it on a watch fair... sounds like "I am accountable for nothing!" Probably you get a not very well mounted Franken piece with no documents at at least
-
When the bezel has the same hight, might it be that it sits just higher in the case - so the portion below the bezel is more present? Because from the comparison shot it definitely looks different!
-
An "instrument" telling me when its (aproximately) night and when day - now that makes a sun watch looking like a high tech instrument Sorry, for me that is some mens jewellery with nice turning thingies in it... I will pass on that; not that I probably could afford it anyways!

PVDing a PAM...suggestions, possible group PVD thread.
jockl1978 replied to promotersf's topic in The Panerai Area
I think you misunderstood me - $1000 for my last watch plus material to make it close to perfect - not yet taking into account pvd and watchsmith work But I love the hobnail and PVD, would be also my favorite gen, otherwise the PAM 025... So I will give my bank account a small rest and then attack it. Does anyone know where the rep makers procure these 2892 with the power reserve module - are these used ones so servicing would be advised? -

Funny coincidence, like Promotersf I got one of the recent 2892 PAM 28 and have also a gen PVD crown, SSSurfer Cyclops and soon Lello DW on the way. I like the way the PVD was done on Rollis PAMs and also that it is done here in my home country (gotta support the local economy ) Every of his watches is flawless - at least from the technical and modding side, so I hope to recieve some similar nice result, as I don -
From my expirience it is really hit and miss with DSN: - my first one was a swiss PAM 127, nice execpt the crown guard pin and holding good time - the second one should have been a 232 which was a desaster - dial was printed slanted to the right (I was not the only one - you can find the threads here and on rwi), crown wobbly and the watch running over four hours fast on a day! So much for his advertising that all watches are checked on a time tester...chinese time running that much faster then european one? I am now waiting for a replacement and then its done for me with DSN. I normally don

Sorry, just looked at it again ,these are no screw heads with slits, crosses, tri wing or torx but a plain mini screw head with five corners Six corners would be no problem, but these are really not common...
