hey viper.. i bought a gen strap rubber too today in an AD.. lucky my friend is working in the shop and she sold it for me for around 100AU$.. but i didn't have my steelfish with me so that i can compare it to the gen.. do you know if our blue dial steelfish is accurate or not in terms of colours and everything? because the ones that i saw in the case was very sparkly.. but it mustve been the light.. coz u know them jeweller light.. but yeh can u confirm this for me?

Hi i just bought a swiss valjoux 7750 date ring.. white background @ 3 oclock.. and i'm looking to put it on a tag heuer watch.. i've read reviews in this board saying that both carrera chrono and link chrono are very accurate to the gen except for the dates... in the link the problem was that the date is too much to the right and problem with the tag carrera is that the date isn't big enough.. so i'm looking forward to change the date ring.. but my question is if i put the datering on the link chrono.. would the new date now lined up properly (in the middle)? and if i put it on the carrera will it have the correct date also? if both are correct after changing the datewheel... which one would you think is more accurate to the gen? carrera chrono or link? thanks for the help

i know on the carrera you can change the datewheel to the swiss valjoux.. can u change the datewheels on this one?

after i bought the yachtmaster rolesium perfect.. i hardly take it off my hand.. even when im sleeping i keep it on my wrist.. even in the shower too :S.. am i supposed to take it off? it did say waterproof.. so as to your question i would have to say yes

they are madly expensive here in australia.. most of their watches are 2000+.. i was thinking of getting her either a gucci watch (around $600) or maybe something like a tissot or something .. while i will be wearing a breitling steelfish rep

hi i was reading Finepics' thread regarding daterings for Swiss Valjoux 7750 - 2557/1.. i read that you can get them from o.frei and also cousins.. however i don't know these people or where to contact them.. can you please tell me where i can contact these people.. or any other place where i can acquire these daterings? thanks very much i know watchparts provides these daterings.. but are they reliable? thanks

ok ok the bezel insert fell off! i glued it back on.. but now the WHOLE bezel wouldnt turn.. lol must've been the glue getting inside the bezel.. lol... man im such a clown arent i.. first breitling is dead second i ruined a "perfect" yachtmaster
