Hmmm... Can't help much there. The Pre-V case is rather elusive. With the thicker, shorter lugs and the squared corners... That's gonna be tough to find.

I know helenarou used to have such a case... But it seems that finding one these days is no easy task.

DSN has some cases that would fit the bill, I think? Maybe?

unfortunately dsn's cases will not fit with the cg.. i've tried.. so thats not an option.. i know helenarou used to have these shorter lugged and squared corners cases.. thats y i was asking u whether or not siswatch727's case is good.. its because ive read somewhere before that these guys are the equivalent of helenarou.. from the pics.. i can tell that siswatch727's case has thicker and shorter lugs.. not sure about the squared corner tho.. i have to see it from the side.. but im gonna get it sometimes next week anyway.. so hopefully fingers crossed it'll be a good pre-v case.. ill post pics when itshere

ye but i heard little hero's cg wouldn't fit in dsn's cases.. well it didn't fit on my 202/a anyway.. thats y im sourcing for a new case

I have the reverse problem, I wanted the Gen before I ever knew there WAS a rep of the watch. I have always been an Omega fan. I love the Speedmaster series and the older and current Seamasters are all beautiful pieces. BUT the PO is just IT for me. If money were no object I would own one of every ilk.

That one shot of the gen and rep side by side is actually disturbing in a sense. Except for the AR glass, where it look like there is no glass at all on that gen dial, they are very close indeed. I may just keep saving up for the Gen, though that UPO is very tempting and would be nice for occasions where I wouldnt want to wear a Gen PO.

Hmmm. Tough choices in life, but fun ones none the less.

get the gen.. for me theres just too many flaws in the rep .. but then again.. the quality of the upo is actually very good and will fool most ppl but for me it doesn't have that 'aura' or 'charisma' of an expensive watch... but thats just me.. and thats because i know all the flaws..

so aesthetically its pretty much fully modded.. i spent more than 600 bux on the mods.. and i was gonna let it go for around $500 but there was no offer for it so meh!

$300 (watch), $100 (superlumes), $50 (eta day/date wheel) + putting in cost is around $30, chief AR ($50) + crystal removal and installation ($30), regulation of movement (i cant remember how much but i think it was $100) = around $600 spent

Hmmmm... Based on the pics in that link, the set looks like one sold by 'Alpha Time' or something to that effect from the Bay. I picked one up sometime ago, and it's not awesome That said, I'd pass. There are better case sets out there, in my opinion...

As for my case... It was a generous gesture from a good friend and fellow RWG'er. No Jimmy CG, however. I'm searching for a good replacement, though!

that isn't good.. do you kno where i can get a pretty accurate pre-v cases from? its not that easy ey finding a case i dont wanna spend that much on a jimmy fu tho..

This case is kind of a temporary fix- I'd prefer to be using my JimmyFzu case, as that's the project that this dial/movement combo was intended for:

However, the CG on that one broke, and so that one's out of commission until I can find a decent CG worth using to replace.

The PVD case that I'm using for the time being is an old school DSN case, which I've spent time polishing out with a cape cod to give it a very dulled and worn look.

ye jimmy would be the best choice i reckon.. r u using jimmy fu cg as well? i got a dsn 202/a case too but the stupid bezel is loose ass.. so its kind of broken.. and i need a replacement case.. with the case that i showed u above.. u reckon its actually a good choice for pre-v series?

ive always been wanting to upgrade man.. but seriously right at this moment im in serious need of cash.. 30 euros is about 60 aud.. which is alot for me.. hell im trying to finish my own 202/a project and its been taking over 6 months i couldnt finish it coz my economy is pretty tight right now.. but ill get to it.. and as to selling my 3717.. im in between whether or not i wanna sell it or not.. im still undecided

sorry to hijack but im kinda in the same project but mine is more of a 202/a.. does this case look good for the pre-v style?? i got my own sapphire, cg and crown and dial and so on n so on.. i just needed a case.. what do u think?

well i ordered a sis727 case.. and fingers crossed that my v-cg will fit the case.. if not then i'll see what lanikai can get me.. and if that still doesn't work.. my last option would be that i have a 111h coming to me.. so if the sis727 dont fit.. i can swap out the case on my 111h and put it on the sis727 case and use the 111h case for the project..

I have 2 of V's Cg's and regardless of which case it goes on case the lever needs to be filed down quite a bit.. that is the only mod I know of .. what "mod" are you referring to ??

apparently dsn's pre-v cases just don't fit all together with the v-cg.. as in the holes don't line up properly.. milesd told me this thats y i decided not to go with dsn's case.. and dsn charges 150$ for just the case.. which seems too expensive dont u think?

hey guys.. i need your help for my last piece of the puzzle for my 5218-202/a project.. i need a case for it.. i've acquired the following parts

- pre-v screw lugs (2pcs screw)

- fgd dial

- lh crownguard

- t-crown

the only thing im missing is actually a stupid casing for it.. does anyone have a standard rep case (that comes from andrew or josh) with SAPPHIRE crystal for sale? if possible i heard theres the old 005 pre-v cases around which is discontinued.. if anyone has these can they msg me please.. i really need these!! thanks... i've already contacted josh and andrew.. apparently they're out of these right now.. and i dunno who to ask these days
