what tools did u use? i managed to resize it.. but i broke 1 screwdriver, broke 1 pin removal tool, break 1 pin puncher and scratch the living daylights out of my bracelet not to add i broke about 4 links

did u get the strap from an ad if u did.. did u freakin compare it to the gen?

The main difference I noticed between the two was the quality of the finish on the dial, and the quality of the AR on the gen.

The genuine dial has a beautifully textured blackish dial, whereas the replica is very flat in texture, and sometimes appears grey/browny colour in direct sunlight.

I've just received my Daytona secs @ 6 from one of the dealers on this forum and I'm so happy upon receiving it..

However, over the past few days, I noticed that the seconds hand is running a bit funny..

It appears that the seconds hand does not sweep throughout it's course, instead on few positions, it looked like it was "jumping".

Could it be a bad movement..?? :(

What are other possible explanations..??

I am graduation in Aug. and i am trying to find the perfect watch to go with the Cap and Gown i have to wear. This is a big day for me since i am graduating from Undergrad...i am looking for a watch that will go right into my career. I am a Econ major so i guess price will influence the final decision...but i need some help on idea...thanks in advance for all your help...

depends how u wanna position urself i guess.. if u wanna be seen as that "ooh i just graduated and im rich" i reckon a tag carrera daydate is good... but if u just want a nice watch.. i personally prefer breitling or panerai.. but no one will probably notice ur watch.. thats my 2 cents anyway

Rolexman, does the gen have the circles on the dial, or is that a trick of the light when you took the pic? If it does it sounds way cool!!

no it doesnt have concentric circles.. and only the v2 dials are remotely close.. other versions arent even gettin close to the gen

i would say.. they already kind of repped the 3-barrel movement.. ive seen it in davidsen's egiziano watches.. but then again i dunno
