  1. I just got a quote from Puretime, this watch uses a Swiss quartz movement and it's NOT CHEAP. Asian 7750 $$$ range.
  2. That's a Swiss Unitas.
  3. Straight from the knowledge base:
  4. I thought that you can't scratch Sapphire unless you use something harder e.g. Diamond?
  5. lol
  6. I've never seen a pic of a Navitimer with the new 7750s yet, Perhaps one from Josh will help.... FYI The new 7750 also appeared in the new Pam Subs and Arktos.
  7. I agree! I asked Davidsenjpn about this and unfortunately he told me he can't supply it.
  8. A tourbillon is a very complicated movement and to be honest I'd doubt the rep makers have mastered the art of making a reliable tourbillon. (Look at the Asian 7750) There are people who have experienced failures on these movements. (And you can't repair it because there are no parts available) I do own one of those tourbillons, It's running fine but it's a 'special occasions only' watch.
  9. Just one advice: Don't use it as a daily beater!
  10. Answer: An imperfection is more difficult to detect than a missing feature.... PS when will the Chinese Unitas have a swan neck?
  11. IMO Cream coloured straps will only fit watches with white dials i.e. Pam Slytech
  12. Are you guys sure that he's Paul? he used to have awful english like "Do'nt worry!"
  13. Predictions Predictions.......! Australia wins the world cup after winning the final against USA Lowest TV ratings ever.
  14. I wish I have a N90......Oh well I guess I'll have to settle for my lowly Razr V3.....
  15. So is Puretime's VC Overseas a 1:1 copy? I really want one but I can't choose between the two......
  16. The trick is to get quotes from multiple dealers and start from there. Most of the dealers offer the same models so quality is pretty much the same arcoss the board. Dealers usually charge more for customer service but in my opinion apart from Aspire (which people here constantly rant about) and possibly Luckyyy, the level of customer service is, again, the same. So you might just buy the cheapest one. Also some dealers here offer free shipping so make sure you factor that in when you buy a rep.
  17. That's the reason why many people will suspect that it's a rep. Most people don't know the fact that LV makes watches and will automatically suspect any to be fake. It's like the Oysterquartz, most people will think it's a fake because they know a Rolex doesn't tick.
  18. Anyone seen this 'Breguet style' tourbillon movement in a rep? http://cgi.ebay.com/BrandyCurtis-SS-REAL-C...1QQcmdZViewItem
