  1. what are the prices for EVO, SA and Navitimer gen dials?
  2. What happened to the 3 hour mark? its cut in-half and the day window is way too close to the side. Is this V1 skyland??
  3. ok, then looks like my skyland will be going for a lume job. Yay!!!
  4. gen dial could be in the range of 500-700usd and up. the question is : IS IT REALLY WORTH IT ? My short answer is NO.
  5. i agree, looking at recent breitlings ( skyland, SHO, SFSO) many PAM reps are a grade below in terms of accuracy. Interestingly, Panerai watches are less complicated compared to other brands and still our chinese friends manage to screw them up. go figure!!!
  6. guys you are going OFF TOPIC here. it dos not metter how many are off center, the question is : Can it be easily fixed during lume job? if the answer is yes, then this watch deserves good lume anyway, so markers shouldnt be a BIG issue. although i agree that it is annoying. they ALWAYS screw up something LOL !
  7. It seems to me that the lume dots and lume in general are the only "major" problems with the new skyland. Can't the lume dots be removed and reapplied properly during lume job? Can our in-house pro's comment on this please? (dial close up below was borrowed from timepiece):
  8. Congrats. It looks great! Looks like 2008 is a year of Breitling reps!!! lol they claim this to have 50M water resistance rating. Can someone please do a pressure test and post results?
  9. not my cup of tea, especially for THAT price. Thanks but NO thanks!
  10. how is the quality of the bezel? is it tight? also, can we put in a gen 7750 in this thing?
  11. t you rule!!! cant wait to see the finished product!
  12. So i was watching The Biggest Bang DVD concert in Austin, TX and noticed this ... looks like IWC to me?
  13. i agree, solid case back is the way to go with these dials! especially with gen dial.
  14. i thought DSN's cases couldn't accept gen CG's...?? i guess not all of them.
  15. Rolex for graduation? haha. where i come from Rolex is like a unicorn. People couldnt even afford a "snickers" bar for god's sake. rolex, lol.. I am afraid if certain people find out that you wear $1K on your wrist it will be gone along with your hand
  16. forget about this story. period. they never saw your watch in person. they dont have any proof that it is a replica. you can always say that the pictures were not the pictures of the actual item. this is a joke. they are looking for suckers who get scared and admit the crime even if nothing happened.
  17. now get a tripod and a DIY light box and im sure you'll produce some really amazing shots!!! Good camera btw, i've had both XT and XTi, great choice of lenses.
  18. if this holds true for this version of Heritage then we are out of luck...unless we can source some eta hands from the factory that makes older swiss heritage..
  19. i am talking about putting swiss eta movement in the ultimate trusty version.. my concern is - will the movement fit and will the hands fit eta movement..?
  20. Tell us, are you driving a porsche?
  21. good looking watch. Congrats! Now get that new Heritage!
  22. Most reviews seem to be great so far. Can we replace the asian movement with swiss 2824-2? Will it fit and will we be able to reuse the hands? I do not know if the movement spacer in the asian ultimate is the same size as in the swiss Silix's version... if they are made at the same place then the spacers are probably the same, but looks like these watches were made at different factories...they could be using the same spacers though. Here is Silix's swiss version movement shot, notice the size of the spacer .. looks thinner to me. May be its just the angle ... :
