..with its current models. Call me crazy...but i do not like recent Panerai models. I think Panerai is loosing its soul. Originally i liked Panerai for the "bold simplicity" of its early models. Now i think its going in the breitling/rolex direction... (wait till PAM with diamond bezel comes out of Firenze factory) ..and i do not like that. but who am i, right?

i dont know about you guys but i prefer warm weather these days even though i grew up at -45'C temperatures my roommate back in college lived near where the temps go down to -70'C one of the coldest places on earth and its not antartica... Alaska is too warm for us, thats why we sold it

Old_skool does it have AR? Is crystal made of sapphire? Also, does it come serviced/waterproof tested/regulated etc like his other watches? I may be getting this one instead of 201/a...

what else do we expect from limited edition panerai....? just look at the rolex prices in last 10 years. im sure in 20 years 127 will be pushing 60-70K easily... time to start retirement fund p.s. you know whats funny? i think davidsens 127 will be going up in price as well in the rep community that is.

here is good article on gold plating: link gen watches have up to 20um layer of gold - this provides excellent durabilty and lasts more than a life of the watch itself. . I wonder how thick the layer of gold is on reps? Any dealers know this answer?

Here is my white dial SFSO with asian movement on recently acquired brown crocodile strap with deployment buckle. I like it more than the SS bracelet! What do you guys and girls think? p.s. props in the pics are: breitling box (from gen breitling chronomat), gen breitling tag, "Romeo Y Julieta" cigar and a head of american alligator .. poor thing

Honestly, I do not know how many different Marina Militare models Panerai made over the years. Lets list them all in one place. Put model #, case material (SS, Titanium, PVD), crown position (destro/regular),dial color, case size: Is this a complete list? : PAM 036 ( titanium, tobacco, 44mm ) PAM 082 ( titanium, blue, 44mm ) PAM 202/A (PVD, black base dial, 44mm) PAM 217 ( SS, destro, black, 47mm ) PAM 6152-1 PAM 6154 Anything else is missing.....?

find seller with good feedback on ioffer, there are plenty PAM's in 100-200 range, you get what you pay for though.

Some of our dealers may be able to get necessary files from the rep factory, then all we need to do is correct dial imperfections, like notorious letter " A ", font spacing etc. Who has good relationship with our dealers? Please ask if they can source the files or anything at all to get this project started. Also, do any of you know CAD well?

i'd service it right after you get the watch (you never know if it was properly lubricated at the factory) and then every major overhaul 3 years. 5 years service is recommended for movements in gen watches. btw, i love your avatar!

TTK, It looks like black seal does not have any AR on the mineral crystal and there is no swan neck on the movement, am i correct?
