  1. Seems like at the moment there are two ways to find out... 1) If anyone knows or get to see Sly in person maybe can try to approach him and ask him about the watch he is wearing in the movie.... or 2) Call or drop a note to Panerai/Richmont and ask them about the watch worn by John Rambo in the movie... * Ok I took the initiative and already dropped them a note will await their news and keep you all posted if they do get back to me...
  2. I have just watched the movie today evening, can't see much of the watch though...but movie is ok. Pretty violent at times and I loved the way he shot those arrows! And I guess must be due to the great pressure from the machine gun that he was busy firing away that's why the second hand dropped off! Hahaha! Somehow wonder if the watch will ever be officially announced and will it be another limited edition series? And if it's really the case, rep makers will know what to do right....?
  3. Thanks for the info Victoria! So lately did you have any new source for pam straps?

Oh that's indeed another step ahead...good news! If they are thinking between this and the big pilot I can understand.... are they?
  5. Guess it might be called..."Ramdy"...or "Fidbo"...or....
  6. Just discovered this hxxp://stores.ebay.com/Straps-Monster over at another forum. Seems to have some straps for Pam watches, take a look at those Nato ones. Does anyone bought any straps from him before and how's the quality? And Victoria any comments?
  7. Oh ya and he gets real angry because he must be thinking oh [censored] why do I pay so much for these watches and no one tell me I could have them at such better prices! Rambo V....mission code name....sink that submarine....ping ping ping....
  8. Oh yeah I'm going to catch that movie Rambo IV! Saw a lot of posters in town so will check it out to see if its a good movie or not. Anyway for the last Rocky movie I find that what he told his son is pretty meaningful and it's something like this...In life its not about how hard you can punch but how hard you can get punched and still keep moving forward! As for that watch hope we will hear more news about it! Personally I find that the fiddy in stainless steel still looks nicer and more military like.
  9. Hi HikeUSA, I'm also waiting for mine guess will be receiving it early next week as TTK did mention he is shipping out some this week. Not to worry you will get your watch. In the worst case if you really never receive your watch after some time you can always contact him to verify.
  10. One more to add in... I want this! What do you all think? Should not be too difficult to rep right....

Yes good question! Think thickness may have an issue...then again nothing is impossible too at least this wont be as hard to rep as the Big Pilot. BUMP all the way!!!
  12. Quite a pity...wonder will we have the chance to see these Grahams as some are pretty nice in my opinion...
  13. Oh yes they are certainly very nice!! I myself have the radiomir black seal, the pink gold finishing is very elegant, it doesn't feel 'cheap' in anyway. I do have another watch in rose gold finishing but the radiomir really outshines my other time piece. Cheers TTK thanks for sharing! What other new watches you have do remember to share with us ok!

  15. May Day! May Day! The air craft carrier is taken over by Italian naval commandos!!!
  16. Hi Neil, thanks for nice gesture! Quite surprised to see you in here! By the way could you kindly send me the mailing address either via pm or email so that I can arrange for the courier to send the watch back to you. Ya 'shitty' things do happen maybe like 1 in a 100 or 1 in a 1000, sometimes really have to depend on luck man. But luckily having good dealer makes all the difference. Once again thanks for the kind assistance.
  17. Hi tourby thanks for the advice, I will try what you have suggested and see how it goes.
  18. I certainly wouldn't mind a Big Pilot! But think would have to wait a long long time before a decent one is ready... On of that, I don't mind these but don't know why they aren't so popular, could it be because the brand name is new??? And of course I don't mind some models from U-boat too! Oops I'am too greedy....
  19. Hi dear friends, one of my watches running on the Asian unitas-6497 hand wind movement is having some issues. I hope you all could give me some advice as I'm not sure what could be wrong with it. Here are the details: 1. Watch was fully wind the night before but within like 12 hours the movement will stopped moving by itself. 2. So I took the watch up from my table top to examine it further, I hear no clicking sound. 3. So I decided to unscrew the crown and wanted to try to wind the watch and check. But even before I wind the watch, the watch started moving by itself again and the clicking sound was also back too. So I just adjusted the time and all worked fine again. 4. On another day, the watch was also fully wind up the night before but next day when I wanted to wear it, it was not moving again. This time round even more amazing, I just took the watch up from my table top, I looked at the back of the watch to see the movement inside and then flipped it to the front, the watch started moving by itself again! 5. And with some advice, I decided to rest the watch at various positions when I'm not wearing it. This is to check if it is due to certain position it is being placed when at rest will cause this same issue or not. 6. And so far, from the past few days of observations and trial and error, it seems that when I placed the watch at two particular positions over night, usually the next morning the watch movement will stop moving. 7. However, I still can't draw any conclusions as I'm not an expert in this area and I really don't know what's wrong with it. So does anyone knows what is the problem? And any advice to follow up from here? Thanks in advance, I would really appreciate any feedback and advice given. And of course I certainly wish that this watch could be working normally soon.
  20. Hi fellow hobbyists, so does anyone know of any watchsmith repairing rep watches in Singapore? Thanks & have a nice weekend.
  21. Hi hambone, orchard road is a pretty big place and there are many ADs there too. Can't remember there is any watchsmith there.
  22. Hi HikeUSA thanks. Got his reply already, negative. So wonder does anyone else has any other recommendations?
