  2. Flat 4s, lug holes, hollow end links, and (apparently) a shallow toothed bezel.... A nice combo.
  3. Absolutely correct about the insert. But inserts get replaced all the time. Very common to see triangle 4 inserts on lug hole cases these days... The flat 4 lumi insert is getting harder and harder to find.
  4. A new one today.... It's first day on my wrist: Sent from my iPhone using Forum Runner
  5. This piece is in fantastic condition. There's a little nick in the bezel at about 5 o'clock, but otherwise it's cherry. Let's call it TZ 99%. Very rare for the 20th Anniv edition as well to come with the full kit, all original. I've had my eye out for a while. Really comfortable on the wrist too - the 1450 is great. Nice size - think 3717ish in size. Just a great all around piece, and a little piece of history at the same time.
  6. Thank you sir!
  7. I think we're splitting hairs at that point. . . . and maybe even before that point.
  8. Ah here we go. 1989 20th Anniversary Edition Moon Watch with the full kit and kaboodle. All original, limited to 4000 pieces. Movement calibre 863 with 1450 bracelet. Hesalite crystal, solid case back. Been waiting for quite a while for this exact set. Ahhhh..... Sent from my iPhone using Forum Runner

  18. Very sweet piece. Congrats. You're going to enjoy having that one on the wrist for years to come!
  19. BTW, did any of the lughole cases ever ship with 92350s? Perhaps the late model lug cases like Y or F serials? You definitely see lughole cases with 92350 bracelets on TRF, VRF, and eBay. Just wondering if those bracelets were replaced after the initial purchase or if Rollie ever shipped 'em that way. Example: here I kinda figure with the TC bezel the way it is, and most lughole cases having the steeper cut teeth, perhaps for those not wanting to drop the coin on a gen bezel, drilling out the lugs on the TC case and mating it with a V3 92350 is a good way to fly...
  20. Heh.. You said the top one was older though. Nevertheless I see your point. Non-lughole cases can have either bezel, but the newer bezel is far more common. Older cases can have newer dials too, via service replacement. So, my point is that it's not worth sweating over, unless you're dead set on reproducing a newer serial 16610 for some reason (which is perfectly valid). Doubted it would. The Sean dimensions are off with regards to bezel. That'll be good.
  21. Sean case, also I presume? Sounds like an interesting experiment. When do we find out the results?
  22. So what are you mating your gen bezel with? Sorry I've lost track.
  23. Can't go wrong with gen.
  24. By the way, will a gen bezel fit on a TC sub with the TC crystal retention ring? Or do you need a gen retention ring as well?
  25. The bottom one is an F serial (no lug holes). The top one also has no lug holes. D serial. Newer dial. The pic isn't great, but then it's not much worse than when sitting on the wrist either.
