  1. I applaud you Nanug. I really do prefer Rovers... Especially the Range Rover Sport

As what? (costume) 3. With which watch? As for the pumpkin man, Viennawatch 1. Singapore 2. Myself, wont be taking a costume with me 3. Hopefully my PAM 183, fully modded, or Rolex Sub (black)
  3. bah, dont know.. way too bulky, but whatever makes u happy!
  4. UHhh ahhh ohhh... I have been a member of RWG--well old one for longer--for quite some time now and havent bought too many watches, but am getting my PAM 183 fixed, fully modded and I am as excited as if I just ordered my first rep...... Pictures will follow as soon as I get it back!!!
  5. 1. Black Rolex Submariner 2. Paul (ABAY) 3. Yes
  6. I most honestly think that the replica section of watches has to be explained differently. I dont have too many replica watches, I have been with RWG, well the old RWG for two years and within this period have only bought 3 reps. PAM 111, black submariner and a PAM 183. The black submariner is almost fully modded, I'd say 85% modded, the PAM 183 is at Palpatines and is on its way to being fully modded, with canon pinon, etc.... All that remains is the PAM 111, but it is so far off from the new PAM111 H, i am thinking of just sacking that and getting the ultimate fiddy instead. Anyways.... thats besides the point... I think this whole replica craze, be it obvious or not, is not about necessarily owning watches that look like the real thing so we can walk around boasting and pretending to own something we do not (although some people do it exactly for that reason and I think thats somewhat sad, but thats my opinion). Any fool who sees someone cruising in a Golf 1 or some piece of junk and wearing our watches or even a breitling bentley and driving a somewhat cheaper BMW or BENZ, well realize oh man, what a fake. I dont necessarily go about telling everyone that the watch I wear is a rep, but if they ask I say yes. If they just stare without saying, i dont mention jack [censored]. I think the, lets say, "ART of REPLICAS or REPLICATING" is indeed an art. In essence, portraiters or sketchers (what i do as a hobby, some might have seen my pics) are replicating things too. I replicate faces with pencil or sceneries. Model builders are creating small size replicas. Although most people don't see it that way and rather as a crime to replicate such high value items, i think its an art and to try and use such skills as some of our great people here have like Palpatine, The Zigmeister, and Joe, to make reps look much more closer to the original thing is indeed a difficult thing that takes practice. To achieve such perfection is truely an art. I am not really as excited about wearing a 99% look alike, rather than I am of the process of it being made to look like the real thing. My job might not depict me as an artist, but I truely am in the heart and I have a passion for good looking things... yes ladies, but WATCHES too, i mean i just love what they look like. I have numerous watches that are not reps, but no were over 300 EU, but still i think that they look good...and thats my addiction... and to be able to be part of the process of making somewhat bad looking reps good, being part of the formation... thats my ultimate addiction, but my addiction has a limit... the limit of my bank account... sadly.. if i had more cash available for such a hobby or a better job, I'd be owning as many watches as some of you guys out there... cheers, enjoy your bloody reps, be happy for what they are and not for what you could have. Let those lawyers and bastards think we are committing crimes, but in reality they do not feel what we feel! Your friend, Viennawatch
  7. I'd get a Baume et Mercier Classima (chrono, black and red)
  8. Welcome back... Puking Pumpkin here! I am somewhat ashamed that I am not as prominent as I used to be on the old forum.... Life has a way of keeping you busy...
  9. The good old days of bashing lol
  10. Not my thing... too bulky! Whatever makes you happy really.. hehe
  11. Well you know how some people have issues with the 7750... but of course you could find a BB with a 7750b1, i think the newer ones come with them.. More stabile version... Not so sure, but maybe you check on it. Do a little research, as we used to say on the old RWG and surely they do now. Do the research! Anyways I dont trust the 7750s, just yet. Although the PAM 196 is really juicy.. but i think they got a 7753 for that.. Ohh man this RWG business is getting me all syked up again!!! Anyways I think if you can't show for the money, then dont get a BB.. Too flashy, way too flashy... but hey its your money, your taste, your face... I honestly think its a nice watch, and 75pounds.. about 90 euros... I guess thats alright... Especially if its from Precious Time, very reputable dealer! Can't go wrong there! Ask some others or wait for more answers! Hope that helped... somehow, haha.. cheers Viennawatch
  12. Damn, you got awefully close though... 13 is my house number! Bad luck for me huh?? haha no wonder i didnt receive the watch!
  13. Good to see all of you guys! I am beginning to get the feel for RWG again... All it takes is a couple of looks at those sexy PAMs and I'm all the way in! Now the only thing I need more of is money. lol
  14. Definitely, I would go with the Sub as a dailybeater, though of course I like to variate...
  15. Unless of course you are still young enough to look as if you were spoiled by your 'rich' dad! haha I still got a year or two and then I have to start looking for a better paid job!
  16. Man I remember some of the older pics from the old RWG. One, you have gotten much better and two, the pics are showing more skin! Woah... You should be proud of yourself!
  17. 2.5--- Pam111, modded black sub, and a repairable PAM183.
  18. I have a good suggestion! How about each member here buys me a rep!? Damn... I know... spam.. sorry. I was so utterly bored I could not think of anything else to say! Please forgive this innocent looking pumpkin! Or maybe I might need to puke!
  19. Well I bought my black sub (standard ETA movement) from Paul almost over a year ago. Infact I have had it for a year and a half now and it keeps excellent time. Its been modded by palpatine and is close to perfect. I dont care about the movement as long as it keeps perfect time! I don't know if Paul still keeps the same quality that he used to. I am sooo out of date, I am actually embarrased. Ever since the switch over to the new site I have been so confused and lost, haha... Cheers.. good luck Your Viennawatch
  20. Psda... funny.. u know some shipments that come from Asia get checked, others do not. I had ordered two watches from Paul (Espire) and they always came through. Once I got a free watch from the US, but that was stopped, so I told them to send it back. HEy psda, have you ordered from Homer or precious time? I'm thinking of getting the 188 black 7753 from of them eventually... wondering if orders from them got through to Austria without any problems...
  21. I dont know what the hell has become of RWG, but I think this is just silly... Anyone here serious of spending that amount of money to mess with someone's title or pay to steal someone's money? OH that makes me want to deposit money RIGHT away.. lol.. ya right.. I think this is all too silly. I am sure most of you don't agree and possibly I missed something, but its really ok considering that I am not on here very often anymore. Take care and be careful what you spend your money on. Viennawatch
  22. Hey sssurfer!! Nice to see you again! Ya I am still that drawer I used to be, wasn't too long ago though, haha, in fact I did one lately for a Thai friend of mine. Was her bday, handed it to her when i was in Bangkok, but shhhh I actually came to have a holiday and get some reps. haha.. Oh considering studies.. I think I'm gonna work for a little longer and do my MBA in a couple of years.. 2 or 3 years... I currently looking to get a job in Singapore, got a few hits.. still deciding when I should go... Good to see you here! Viennawatch
  23. Hey Usil, no hard feelings, I understand. I also agree we are lucky to have RWG! But for all you MBKers. The best luck I have had with good quality reps in MBK was also on the 3rd floor. On the left or right side, whichever way you are walking.. anyways on one side the middle path is wider and they have class counters, the first 3 to 4 sell watches and the others sell fake perfumes, creams, vitamin pills etc... If you go to 3rd or 2nd watch seller from the end and ask for a guy called "Na," he can get you some good stuff.. I checked out a navitimer and a bunch of PAMS, all good quality, just like here... Rolex and Omega, I am generally paranoid about since they are the most repped watches..So I prefer to get those here on the forum.... anyways good luck an all your next visits! Viennawatch
  24. Usil, unfortunately your short time biased your opinion. I was in Thailand for 3 months in the summer of 2005 and for 2 weeks in Bangkok a half a month ago. Anyways, yes the reps that they have at MBK under the counter are crap. Almost all are crap, unfortunately you didn't have time because you could have gotten quite a lot of the same quality Panerai and Breitlings we get here on RWG. The reason why they only have [censored] on display is because they know the average person buying a rep will not know the difference. If he can get something close enough to looking like the original, he can show it off to his friends who dont know a thing about watches and the damage is done. Another reason why they only have crap under the glass is because if there is a once in a while police raid on replicas. (Which I have been told happens.) Cops only confiscate the crappy watches, while the good quality reps are hidden in storage. I got my cousin and my friend both a PAM 111 and PAM 183 each. You might not recognise me as a prominent member on this forum, but I am, you could say an RWG veteran, some other prominent members can confirm that. I was more present in the old RWG though. Nevermind though, let me tell you I KNOW a fake PAM from a real one and I know a good quality rep from a shitty quality one. And the two that I bought from MBK on the 3rd floor-in fact the guys name was Na-were good quality, in fact the same quality of PAM I would get from any dealer here. The PAM 111 I bought from Paul a year ago is actually not as good as the new PAM 111 I got for my cousin and friends, because it had the swan neck regulator, whereas mine from Paul didnt (UNITAS 6497). When Na first showed me the PAM 183 from under the counter. I realized immediately it was a piece of junk. I turned it around and realized it was an automatic. totally wrong. I told him, look... "I want the one that is like the original." Thats all i had to say.. He asked for my phone number, I gave it to him and told me he would call me in 1 to 2 hours and that I should come back then.. I had agreed on a price if it was exactly like the original. The new PAM 183 with that wavy bluish decorated back and we said 9000 if it was correct... Anyways while he went off to get it, I went to the internet cafe to get some pics of the original with the movement and stuff... I got called. I came back down with the pics and I looked at the watch first. It was pretty much dead on, with the stuff we get here, only the movement was the older version of rep movement. Just the plain UNITAS 6497. I showed him the pics then and told him I wanted this one, that is the original.. He told me that he doesnt have it, but he wants that I buy it cause he want all the way to get it.. He seemed quite insisting on my buying it. So I told him I will not take it, unless he sells it to me for a discount. And I told him 6500 or I walk away.. He was hesitant, but he eventually agreed. So I can understand that without time and much knowledge of MBK watchdealings.. Its understandable how you came to your conclusion. No hard feelings, just telling you what you could have had with more time. I am sure many other members who go to Bangkok quite often can tell you the same. I have only had good experiences. Hope you get to go back to Bangkok soon and try again! good luck! Regards, Viennawatch
