Hi rosnik! niece piece you got there...the DW Academia is the rep I like the most (if we take out the PAMs from the selection)..I don't know why there is not too much love on the boards for this rep but the build quality and the accuracy of this one compared to the GEN are amazing... I have it almost 6 months now and it is definitely a keeper! enjoy it!

I love this forum but I need a dictionary....

the 027/028 and 063/029 are a must have for a rep collector of PAMs... I have personally the 027 and 029, both with the expensive ETA movements 2892/2893...and I love them...one of the rare reps that are worth keeping forever... If you have a chance to purchase them...go for them without thinking too much (if your finances let you to get them)...

you are right...missed it for a couple of numbers! and thanks for answering about the Ted Su croc...I have a couple of different croc straps...this is how my SanDave strap is, a little bit stiff...it's a vintage croco strap...but once you wear it a little bit it gets better... once again, congrats on your collection!
-
amazing collection of super modded PAMs...love your strap selection as well! could you share some info about the Ted Su croc? is it soft? - looks really nice! keep 'em collecting! I would suggest you get a nice 082 in your collection...the titanium case and beautiful blue dial are amazing...you should have it! what's the strap on the 232 - looks really cool!?

@clint eastwood...thanks for your help...it is always nice to see you in these vintage matter posts...and your knowledge is more than appreciated! and please post more of your beauties!

I don't know nothing about Rolex, but I want to wish you luck with your project...I am in the middle of one project - a vintage Panerai... projects are exciting...the harder is it is to accomplish it, the better it is....it gives you more pleasure in the end....And I like challenge! keep us updated (even if I don't like Rolex at all - I like seeing projects like this completed)

just recently Panerai opened their boutique over there...this is watch related that I can advise you to visit...I've never been there so for other sightseeing you should wait others to answer you... Panerai Boutique - Madrid

My Skyland grey dial with a new, awesome strap
dadog13 replied to MADRED7's topic in The Breitling Area
Is that a gray croco? love the look of it...goes pretty well with the dial! -
Can you show some complete Pre-V reps with the new FGD dials
dadog13 replied to ihalatch's topic in The Panerai Area
fgd dials are sold out...he was selling them as dial set (and in some cases separately)...and he was selling ONLY dials there have been a couple of them in the FS section...but don't expect the asking price to be low... good luck in your search! -
tnx for the compliments! I saw that strap just a couple of min ago...looks really nice...I've started talking with V about a strap (you should get a percentage from V from the sale...I beleive I'll order one in a couple of days, just have to decide upon the color - not an easy task with the selection of nice leather that V's got)... your vintage piece is lovely as well...
-
anybody know the purpose to offer this ugly rep to us?! this can be easilly sold in the Canal street and on the GZ watch market...but offering it here to PAM gurus, that's an insult!
-
Damn you! because of your posted pics in the end I'll be ordering probably one from V as well... ...sent him a PM just min ago... enjoy your beauty...looks great.... you could share some info about it while we are here?! what's inside? who did the watch? c'mon, share with us...

tnx for the tip spy! I had today some communications with people from BKK and got the info that the best would be to find a hotel as near as possible to tthe trade fair cause the travel time from one part to the other are crazy...it takes hours during the rush hours! I think I will settle near the fair and then visit other places by TAXI with calm... business before pleasure!
-
@toomuchgear...that's a wonderful strap you have there...I am planning to have it custom made from petergunny from gunny straps...he has some nice vintage looking leather that I like a lot (V's are nice as well...and the buckle from fgd is amazing)... I would order now one from V as well but I am short on $$$...the one I am going to get from gunny is part of a trade with a member...
-
tnx D! I am definitely sure that whatever the size it is, that it will be too long for wearing comfortably...this is why I think will order a 140/90 - 5mm thick...that will be definitely enough, maybe too much!
-
Hi guys! I need help...I need info about the correct size of a vintage PAM strap cause I want to order one for my Angelus PAM... I know that the size is 26/26 - correct? but what is the correct lenght? I know VDB told me once but I forgot it...I want that it has a bit of tail (long one) - it will be approx. 5mm thick...I have a 7.5 inch wrist...and I want to know what is your opinion on holes...should I have it made only one - like a personalized strap? or more of them? All the help is welcome and I thank you all in advance! cheers!

ouch! that's a big price difference... I still don't understand why the rep makers don't make a nice Tudor replica...they go on and on replicating the same Rolex models while they could bring in a new face with this Tudor, and especially the one with the snowflake hands...I bet a lot of members would buy it (they would definitely sell better than the latest ProHunter Rolex)...
-
Hi! I just came across a losting on TZ for NOS gen tritium hands for the Tudor snowflake - they are expensive - 500$ but I really do not know for how much they go usually just wanted to pass the info in case some of you want to get them! http://forums.timezone.com/index.php?t=tre...59829&rid=0 the seller has as well NOS Rolex sub 1030 calibre gen hands as well listed FS : http://forums.timezone.com/index.php?t=tre...59809&rid=0

A lot of you travel all over the world so I thought to give it a a try and see if any of you could advise me a Hotel to stay in while in BKK...I am going over there for a trade fair in November... Many thanks in advance!
