well, I am not sure he is a member of the rep forums... VDB sold it to a member on RG...but I am not sure if the RG member who bought it didn't sell it to somebody else who then posted the FS post today on 'risti... well, the good thing is that the listing was taken off and that it doesn't catch more attraction - there is however a post on 'risti forum by members asking themselves where the post disappeard...

I am from Croatia...I was as well excited about the Defy series being repped but the reps that came out never convinced me of getting one...will wait further more until they don't make (eventually) a better rep...

since I know the price VDB sold it to him...I wonder how did he think to sell it for the x times what has been the asking price from VDB?!!!! he is a scammer!

I want to say as well that VDB NEVER SOLD THIS ONE AS GEN! he sold it for a fair asking price for the work that he has put in...VDB sold this one to a forum member...we will see what this forum member has to say... it's the problem that his watches are so damn good and if they fall in the wrong hands can often be re-sold as GENs...

I will try first to understand if he is trying to scam or if he got scammed by somebody... I already contacted VDB to see to whom he sold this one (got a reply) and now I am trying to figure out who is the seller... but definitely will report it in the next couple of hours

If you want I can list it on my ebay account and you buy it there? Can you pay via paypal? I am already in contact with VDB to see if it is the same person who originally bought the watch from him...

I already contacted the seller and he gave me his photobucket link...now I will ask him where he got it and everything else what's asked in this situations...

it's not normal...but happens with the asia7750 movements- I have one or two that are producing the very same sound...I usually give it a couple of turns through the crown, very gently and then put the watch on my wrist and the PR goes up by normal wear...

here you go with some pics of the GEN 201/A...you can see how is the shape of the numbers 3, 6, 9, 12 and of the logo...hopefully it will make more clear about the accuracy of the DSN and FGD dials compared to the GEN...and it seems that there are different versions of the GEN dial, with slightly different shapes of the numbers...

this is the watch in question...it's from a dealer that recently got added on RWI and RG as a dealer and has a history on dealing on ioffer...

I think that the GEN would have pretty weak lume...no need for good luminosity on this model...

I won't..is too damn nice! I bet the robbery was planned by somebody who knew him... If I owned something like that I'd keep the info for myself and he probably told it to all of his friends and to somebody which he thought was his friend... he definitely told the info to a WRONG person....

so, I just came back home... Tina and I had a great time...we had the opportunity to meet great people and I want to thank Helmut and Stephan for the nice welcome/city tour and the other guys for the nice evening... the watches on the GTG were awesome...our member VDB has an awesome collection and his devotion to this hobby (had the opportunity to see his workplace and to talk wih him about vintage pams) is amazing...you are a true master in this field!
