  1. WOW...definitely a unique franken! this is the 3rd gem today that you have posted...do you have anything else for us?
  2. nice one! the cajun strap looks great (I was after some light tan or honey gator straps so I got these days 2 SC Gators - xlr8tn said he will have some available in the future) once all the mods will be performed this will be a great looking rep! enjoy it!
  3. great looking indeed...you are right when you say that the 187 really needs those mods...they bring it to another level!
  4. siesta, you have a great looking 183 and the choice of the strap is amazing - perfect!...hopefully there will be an additional color selection for the Cajun straps (until then I bought 2 more gators from strap culture trough paneristi) enjoy your beautiful 183!
  5. I would add that a PP 5070 ain't a bad rep as well.. There was a Lange&Sohne chrono rep with the seagull movement that wasn't bad either - don't know the reference or name though...
  6. PAM127 and PAM217...preV PAMs from DSN....the Slytech PAMs (202,225) and the 187....the PAM028.... don't know what's the price of the PP Nautilus - but the MBW/MBK edition is a great rep and I belive the gen price is in the 15k range... DeWitt Academia Chronograph Sequentiel
  7. on Kings site there is the NEW Omega SMP Bond with black dial (replica of course) if anybody is interested...at least I think is the NEW model...not an expert on Omega reps
  8. I've sent a PM concerning the DW for a PAM027 ETA2892-A2 - waiting for a reply...
  9. szvwj...have you bought the tool from the internet or did you source it elsewhere?
  10. I beleive that 700$ is a fair price for a piece like that...just look at the numerous reps that are priced at 500$ or in that range...they cannot compete with a ETA2893 powered watch... this is a sold out model and it should have a starting price (unmodded) at 700$... the mvt is the same one as in the gen...what does have a AP ROO or Breitling Flying B to be priced more than this...nothing...they have less... don't go lower than 700$!
  11. thanks ubi! It will definitely stay in the family...
  12. mysterio....MANY THANKS FOR THE TRANSLATION!...I thought that maybe they will mention somewhere the price of the watch... The watch that I have is the same one...got it from my father for my 21st b-day present...the watch however, was originally bought from my grandfather in 1936...since I didn't have any documentation of the watch a year or more ago I sent a request to PP to dig in their archives and I got a A4 paper "certificate of origin"...where it was written that the movement was produced in the 1926 and was sold in 1936...As far as I've informed myself this is the Calatrava model...the first calatrava was sold in1932, so this one is pretty old.. it has the beyer zurich stamped on the dial...it was a stamp from the shop where it was purchased...in the past some of the most exclusive dealers of brands (PP, Rolex,...) had their dials stamped (or by the original maker or by themselves) with the name of their shops... once again, thanks for the translation!
  13. I beleive most of the pics (if not all) are pics of GEN watches...
  14. Hi Guys! I need help from members that can help me translate the text on the following website - need the translation only of the text below the Patek Philippe Calatrava ref.96 : http://patekphiilippe.seesaa.net/ I need it because I have the very same Patek Philippe watch that is shown on that website and I want to know what is written below the photo... many thanks in advance!
  15. I know for sure that a MBW/MBK PP Nautilus is really thin...don't know exactly how much it is in mm, but belive me...it's thin! and the built quality of the rep is one of the best I saw in a rep...that rep is pure elegance...
  16. he has no website...all his stock can be seen in his section on the RepGeek forum
  17. If you have ever wondered how it would look like a PVD PAM127 here is your chance to see it... This was posted today FS on the 'rsiti site for 25k....the owner had it PVD coated...
  18. welcome to the forum... there are no good reps of the Arnold and son...and that's a pity cause I like them a lot...on the other hand there are a couple of nice Grahams that are available and they are fantastic reps ...I have the Chronofighter Overlord...very well build and really good quality rep... enjoy your stay and reas the forum...plenty of useful informations can be found...from models, dealer, mods, repair and other stuff...
  19. that's all true...but is it worth the 3/4/500$ or like a member is asking in the FS section 1500$ w/o the arrow PR hand ? I'd say......NO!
  20. with all the nice pics of your work that lately are popping out it makes me difficult to wait for my project to be finished... I'll have to add one of these Rolex powered PAMs in my collection as well...it's gonna be an expensive year...and the best is that I promised not to order watches for the next 6 months after I get my Angelus powered PAM...
  21. since this year was a definitely a breitling year if we speak about reps...I bet they will rep it...because they have already some ingredients to make a good one...I don't know If I'd buy one since I have the old school rep of the seawolf...but I am sure that many members would...
  22. would be interesting to know who can do that since I have the same watch on the way to me... in the 1st pics the caseback is engraved while in the last it isn't...did you do the swap? enjoy your beauty!
  23. nice pick up...I saw the listing and that was some serious bidding on them...you have a unique franken right now...definitely one of my fav PAMs out there...I am considering PVD-ing mine to have the 028...
  24. Ive noticed that the sec hand is red on the rep while it's white on the gen and the chrono minute hand is wrong cause it's gold on the gen and blue on the rep...
