well, the movement in my Vintage is an alarm movement and this is why you see that a gear is missing... here is one pic where it's easy too notice the difference...this was a pic from one of the forum members (don't remember who but I hope he doesn't mind me posting it - the non alarm stem wound movements are really rare

I've been looking at the pocketwatches for the last year on e-bay...saw some amazing looking movements going FS at a ridiculous price...pity I have never picked up any of them... I have this picture saved on my laptop from the project watch from a member of the forum (I think!)..not sure who he is and I hope he will not mind me posting his beautiful work...hope he sees this thread and posts more of them...

this one was too small otherwise you'd see me wearing the strap already...I let it out in the wild so she can grow a little bit more...
