Hello. This is from the GMT 9000 clone but I think the rotor winding bridge is the same. This is what how gears set up should look like. The tricky part is getting the bridge back on movement without the gears moving out of place. I had bridge facing up and carefully placed movement facing down on top of bridge and it lined up. I’m sure there’s another way but I got lucky here. I hope this helps.

I have the earlier 5004 and the hands were slightly narrower. I think in 2012 the 5004 (faux PR) was updated to slightly wider hands, and better lume too. I have both versions.

I was gonna ask about the finish too. I've read that the V5 has a smoother or more gen like finish compared to the noob 3.5/4.1. How is the case and bezel finishing on V5 comapred to the new 5.1? Thanks!

Chiman you've got all the right parts now for the ultimate franken! Kudos. Theres no mistaking the depth and bold font of the gen insert. Agree the noob DSSD case and especially first bracelet link is the most accurate. How do I remove bezel assy on my noob DSSD? Tried to pull off with much force but no luck. Any tips? Thanks.

The croc strap for gold RB2 was $570. I got it from a local AP dealer. I don't think they're as strict on selling the limited straps as they once were, asking for serial number etc..

$240 was the gen strap for titanium RB2. But I think the rep RB2 strap is pretty good because it's real leather with nice thickness and grey stitching. It's pretty close. It's the gold version that needs the expensive gen croc strap to look good IMO. As I mentioned, the RB2 and Montoya accept the gen straps perfectly on the links. The ultimate (secs @ 12) links don't fit gen straps. Sorry for the quick phone pics..

Yiasou, Greek. The gen [censored] strap is better made and better Alcantara liner ($240), the rep strap is good for rep because at least its leather. The gen RG strap is of course croc and makes the watch ($570). I have two gen Rb2 croc straps actually. Also, the rep RB and Montoya strap links accept gen straps perfectly, where as my other secs @12 links seem too thin and wont fit gen straps..

Congrats on the RB2. I have a titanium and RG RB both with gen straps. Im tired of waiting for a newer factory version with decorated dial plate. Im seeking to get the plate mod done for both watches. I know it wont be cheap but its worth it. Any input or suggestions are appreciated..
