Much appreciated thread, Mike. Any advice on how to get get bezel screws flush. some are just too recessed and I cannot get the height correct no matter what I try. Thanks!!

We've all been dreaming about this 116520 for years. The dedicated movement with secs @ 6 has always been the obstacle. But I have often wondered if such an Asian movement, if ever made, would also work on the 40mm AP royal oak chrono, and even some of the JLC chronos with secs @ 6. Maybe then it would justify development. Aside from the everyone's grail Daytona, I'd love to finally see AP and Jaeger Le Coultre chrone reps too..

Doesn't look like the forged carbon finish that AP uses, but I'd take a real carbon case over "carbon finish" SS. You guys think the released version next month will have a real carbon case like the Hublot? Maybe other other forged AP carbon models can be made too down the line? Id take the rose gold version myself..

If you please, would you take a side by side pic of this panda dial case and your grey dial case from your other post (other factory?) especially profile pics so we may see case/bezel/crystal height etc. Also I'm pretty sure the greay dial version case is 2-3mm wider than this panda dial one. You would really be helping us as there are so many versions or factories making these and it's difficult to judge from website pics and specs which is which. Thank you vey much in advance! M5

I'm amazed the bezel looks flat and the crystal height looks correct too. I'm guessing this is the version I see on some sites claimed as measuring 41mm x 13mm. If so, this a different case/bezel etc than the 38mm versions @6 I own. If the bezel really measures 41mm and if it's only 13mm thick as claimed, then it is like the gen. All daytonas @6 I've had the case has been too thick-- the bezel too angled, rehaut too deep. But worst of all, they are TOO SMALL--they all measure 38mm bezel diameter (Gen daytona bezel is 40.3mm). I would gladly trade a lowered crown position for correct diameter and thickness. Could we trouble you to take a profile pic, perhaps measure the bezel diameter for us? Thank you in advance!

I already have Ti version and just bought the gold RB2 (not 257). I am very interested in the plate modification alone to update these two purchases. You should sell the modified plate seperately for those of us that own the watch already. And...please post pics! Thanks !
