  1. Yep. This really happend. Here's the story.
  2. The subdial spacing is incorrrect because of the movement. But the subdials themselves are spot on as far as location and design.
  3. Research, research, research. There's so much info in these forums that you can find a reputable dealer and a quality rep watch. Recommend choosing your dealer first, then the watch.
  4. That's what Andrew suggested. But when I asked my jeweler about it, he never heard of it. Will search around.
  5. I ordered this from Andrew in mid-November and received it in 6 days. However, the date display was off. So I sent it back and received the repaired watch last week. But, there were 2 significant scratches on the bracelet. Told Andrew about it and he's sending a new one. Went to my jeweler and he was able to buff out most of the scratch. Watch looks amazing.
  6. I'll be wearing this TAG today working around the house today taking down Christmas decorations.
  7. I"ve got this Aqua Terra... and this Seamaster Diver Chrono coming any day now from Andrew @ TrustyTime
  8. I just ordered one from Andrew @ TrustyTime. I was very pleased with it. Again, the pics on his site do not do justice. Anyway, I noticed that the date in the date window was a tad misaligned, that the right side numbers were cut off. When I asked Andrew about it, he said that it was because the window was cut small. Then I noticed that the date was centered in the window. OK, now I'm puzzled. A few minutes later, back to the cutoff. So I asked if there was an adjustment, and he said that sometimes an adjustment could be made from the crown. OK, let's try that. So I unscrew the crown, pull it out, and found that where was some "play" there, in that the minute hand would move 2 minutes before engaging to actually move the hand. Now this is really disconcerting. I don
  9. Here's a shot of the watch on my wrist. My wrist measures 6.75". And I think this sits perfectly.
  10. Thanks for the pic. Yours appears to be a little larger than mine. And the stick markers are different, especially the one @ 3. The luminator on the second hand also appears to be larger.
  11. I'll post some detailed pics later on, probably tomorrow. The back is clear case, with "OMEGA * Seamaster * Aqua Terra * Co-Axial Escapement * 150m/500ft" etched on the outside rim. If you look at the pics on Joshua's web site, they are exactly like the watch I recevied from him (link). On the watch I received, the dates line up properly.
  12. I thought it was a gen, but she did not say what it was one way or the other. I know the sub dials are different on the reps, as well as some other differences. Thanks.
  13. Actually, when I ordered the watch, I was expecting the leather band. I am very pleased. I've been dealing with Joshua for a while now, and every watch I've received from him has been exceptional. He will answer every email and provides excellent customer service. There is not a picture on any web site that comes close to the actual. If you purchase this watch, you will not be disappointed. As far as the size, I too have a small wrist, and this watch sits perfectly. The gen size is 39.2mm and this must be very close, if not excat to that. I don't have the means to measure it, but I am very comfortable wearing it. I'm unable to send a pic now, but will later this evening so you can see how is sit on a wrist.
  14. I just purchased this from Joshua @ PerfectClones (link) . The watch on his site shows a leather deployant band. I received the watch sporting the SS band as well as the leather band (other vendors wanted to charge $35 for the band separtately). Gook luck.
  15. Can you tell me where you got the watch? It's the best looking rep I've seen from all of the trusted dealers. Thanks.
